Paid Surveys...are they coming to an end too?

I can see it coming. First GPT took the dive. Currently PTC is on its way down hill...now... I see paid surveys are starting to get harder and harder to get, qualify for and even just be accepted! I have a few sites I do paid surveys on. So far so good for a few yeas now. And I keep pretty good track of ones I do on each site just cause they take so long, I know my age group is not targeted for as many as the younger age groups, but still..doing okay. I can't remember ever doing the same survey twice on different sites.I don't even remember seeing the same survey on different sites. However...this past week I have been turned down for a few from one site, saying my IP address has already completed this survey and I can't do it twice. What? They are tracking via IP addresses now? I can understand that they only want you to take a survey once so they have unique info for the client to make there determinations on, but still....I know I have not completed this one I just was turned down for as it was for taking children to the movies...for which I don't do! I filled out all my age/gender/zip...all that stuff...it asked me if I had seen certain movies, I clicked the ones I had scene on DVD, not in the theaters...and it said I can't do the survey, I have already done it from this IP address. I know I hadn't done before and had they just said that I don't qualify (cause they wanted theater viewers, not DVD viewers, I think) it wouldn't have piqued my interest but to say my IP address has done it already...that is so not true! So...my deductions tell me that once a place starts tracking via IP addys, that site is not going to be a crediting site for the clicker in the near future. I can see that they only want one answer per person, and they only allow one account per household, but when they start tracking via IP addy...in the past that is how they determine whether you credit or not. I know I hadn't taken this particular survey so I don't know what's actually going on, but still....in the past, the IP tracking has always shown the beginning of the end in other things....do you think it will be the beginning of the end for paid surveys? I sure hope not. Have you seen any unusual things on paid surveys that would make you wonder if it is coming to a close?

Most of the newer surveys are less interesting than they used to be and if I'm not at the computer when they come in, then they seem to expire faster, too. But some of the sites are still good, although my favorite now pays a little less.

I don't think this is going to end like this, but it could be mostly because people are beginning to get the awareness of earning money online lately and as a result several people are taking interest in joining all the possible websites where they can make little extra money. I suppose this could be the possibility for them to make it hard on everyone to get qualified for surveys or anything else be it.

OH it probably is. And since so many are doing them...they have plenty of takers so they can afford to lower payment amounts.
