Active day versus inactive day

I am relatively new - yes a few days old.
I found a few discussion wherein they have called this day being a dull day. The reasons they stated - a few members banned, a few members have stopped coming.
How people get to know about a member being banned? Do other members get information or it is through informal communication?
I am keen on knowing about this. Also,
Is the computer rating the performance or is it the rating that we give as members that results in rating. May be answers are there in the site itself but am unable to locate them and hence this request from a newcomer.

A lot of us communicate so often that it is immediately noted that they go missing. Once we look for the profile we can tell they no longer have an account here.
Sometimes it is not difficult to determine that perhaps soon they will be asked involuntarily to leave because myLot does have guidelines and we really have to follow them. They do not easily suspend accounts but repeated patterns will surely get them removed, like any site.
We do help one another out and explain if any pattern of our own is noted, some listen while some just do not.

Yes, as you well know Rating people, especially if you continue to rate them positive helps their Ratings here, and everyone really hopes to be Blue as that is a good color to be. As for members being banned, many times it could be from duplicate accounts, being banned with another name before and trying to come back in here as someone else, etc. But there are a lot of people here I have seen come and go over the yrs. and it is interesting always wondering why. But glad 6 months later you are continuing to want to stick around.

Yes. I am in mylot though I am away from the place where I started being active. I will come to mylot whenever I want a change and to share my ideas. Your being active inspite of your office work and health problems is to be appreciated,.

YOu can't actually tell if a person's been banned. Their account will be gone, same as if they deleted the account themselves. In this case, the person told me on Facebook that she had been banned.

yes. In fact she guide me properly for changing my avatar. If u have any queries you can post and the members here help us very well. I am also fairly new--probably I am active for the last four days?
