So i am doing my MBA right now and its time when they send us to working organizations for training and project etc. I was sent to certain organizations for interviews and i got selected on my first interview, but it seems the work they expect us to do is very complicated and 2 month seems a little too less for performing good and get a nice certificate. The job they are expecting us to do is bring them clients that would invest on their company. now i know there are several ways to get clients like market research and such, but its only 2 month time and half of the time will pass just on training. So we will basically have to use our own contacts to get clients which i am kinda short of right now. So i dont think this will be a good option for me. however our Placement officer in our college says that you cant expect to be MD right away, you gotta work your way to the top starting from whatever job you can get.
anyways any tips or suggestion? if you have been in such situation what have you done? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Internship is a great way to learn about the profession where we want to work with. It gives the idea about the practical aspect required to work with that profession. Tells us about the challenges we need to face how to tackle them. Its a great learning experience. I took 3 summer internship while doing my engineering degree. The first 2 were more of fun but the last one was the best as per my engineering needs. Its really necessary to go for intership to know about the industry where we want to seek into.

I did my 1 summer internship while i was doing my engineering, but it was more like learning altogether and we didnt have to do any sort of work, we were sent to an organization and they taught us how their work is done and such. we didnt have to do anything on our own, however this is different. anyways thanks for your input i do agree with your view on internship.
