Technology is ever growing. With the new tablets coming out lately, I'm finding it hard to decide what to buy next. Do you have an iPad or Playbook? Have you done research on them? Which is your preference, and why?

Its true that technology keeps growing and in case if computers it just keeps chsange in every 6 months or so. This make consumers in a dizzy as new things keeps popping up and we just can't make up mind for a particular product. I feel iPad is better as its looks to be a more finished product and is also more popular. Also Tablet PC is going to be the next big thing in this market and will grow leaps and bounds, hence be sure to get more choices in short span of time.

I'm not familiar with the PlayBook. So I guess my answer is obviously for the iPad. I do agree with vinod4net that the iPad seems more like a finished product. Not only is it from apple/mac, it also had its dry run with the iPad 1. No android tablet can match the iPad's A5 processor or so I am told. I'm looking to buy one for myself as well. Too bad mylot earning are not enough to cover this!

Well Android is a different market altogether. Mac is much better, more polished product and applications available for macs are way better than the ones for macs. Its tedious to get applications for android but macs takes care of everything you need in tour iPad. Also performance if iPad is better than any tablet i have came across.

I would have to say that the iPad is a more polished product because it is older - but amazing! I'd love to get an iPad just for the educational apps alone! Super helpful in this homeschooling/daycare home! Yes it would be great if mylot earnings were sufficient! LOL

Hi Mom, I would go for my trusty laptop. It could do all the things iPad and Playbook can do and much more. I would even go for my desktop for more advanced works like graphics designing, audio-video editing, publishing, mapping, CAD and advanced gaming modes.

I'm with you there. I'm not sure I could complete some of my web designs on an iPad. The main reason I'm looking into the ipad is for the educational apps they offer.

Ipad ba, well it's the brand that people buys. Some more the ipad2 is sleek and slim too, also it could act as a pc or a laptop too.

Oh, i would love to have an iPad for the mere reason that it would make me comfortably stay in touch with my online world. iPad gives you the chance to stay online almost the whole time, at your own convenience. I am so much into the online world, mylot, chatting, blogging, plus I have online jobs so I really love to have something that would make me do everything online just on my palm, almost every where. So for me, I'd want iPad over Playbook. :) chuyins
