Hi friends and mylotters! Yesterday was a big day for me! My son graduated from college,so happy! And it's very timely that my husband is still here to witness the graduation of our son! Time really flies that fast! Now my son is about to be a full man, wow! So happy yesterday as if I felt I was the one who graduated, haha! Can't explain what I felt but I realized it is my greatest achievement as a parent to be able to support my son to his studies. I'm just so greatful my son studied well,he may not have medals for honors but his diploma is more than enough for me,it's my greatest award! I know parents have so many obligations to do for their kids but I don't see it as an obligation,I do it 'cause I love my kids. How about you? What's your greatest achievement as a parent? If you're still single, what do you think will be your greatest achievement when you become a parent?

Congratulations my friend!!! Wow, I remember the day I also graduated, what a relief. All the hard times. Well, going back to your question, I think the greatest achievement for me when I become a parent would be education too and the moral values not neglected.

Yeah, me and my wife are proud of her too.She was hired at Convergys where she takes her OJT before graduation.I'm happy for her, at least she will acquired experience first through her job.If she learned enough and plans to transfer she could look for a high paying job. She would have an edge compared to others who haven't work yet.I'm taking care of my father who is sickly because of old age. Thanks for your concern.happy mylotting

Hi stanley! Thank you and congratulations to you too, wow! So you missed the march! What happened to your father if I may ask? Your daughter is so lucky to have a job at once knowing the high competitions in employment these days. My son worked as an IT in a prestigious school but his contract already ended before his graduation,he did not continue his contract,he wanted to apply to a company near our place. See yah!

Congratulations to your son! Like you, i consider it our greatest achievement when our daughter graduated from College too last April. We were doubly happy, because she was also able to get a full scholarship for Medicine on one of the most prestigious hospital/school here in the Philippines. I know it will still take 5 more years for her to hurdle her Medical studies, but it will be an added achievement on her part and ours also when she becomes a full pledged doctor.

I felt my greatest achievement happened the day my daughter was born nine years ago! There have been many proud moments. At the moment my husband and I are spending a lot of money we can barely afford for her to have private ballroom dance lessons and although it is a sacrifice because it is really expensive, when we watch her dance and receive scores in the high nineties we feel it is all worth it as we burst with pride! It’s what it’s all about as a parent, not just achievements but seeing your kids happy and smiling.

"I felt my greatest achievement happened the day my daughter was born nine years ago"...I like this statement of yours Paula! Yes,it is our greatest achievement as mothers to have had an offspring out of our love. I remember how risky it was when I was pregnant with my youngest baby, doctors said it is impossible for us to survive 'cause I had 5 mayomas in my womb with her but we survived friend through the help of our Lord and seeing my baby when I woke up from my delivery is the greatest scene that time, had a miracle! You must be so so proud seeing your daughter dance, all the money you've invested are worth it.

Hi amiga You have the reasons to cheers up. When i was a student, my mom always waited for my results and when i informed the positive, she had smiles on her face and that was enough to make me happy. As i am a single, perhaps my greatest achievement will be like you as a parent and surely a job too. All the best to your kids and have a nice day amiga.

Hi amigo! One thing I don't like from my son is he doesn't study well, ggrrrr!!! But you know, his grades are high, haha! I told him if you only study my son seriously, you would have gained some medals for honors but it's still fine with me amigo,I don't want to force my son to what I want him to do,am just here to support him and I wanted him to be happy with what he wants. I'm thinking if I force him to study always, that might demotivate him from studying, anyways,he still gives me high grades, haha! So proud of him amigo! See yah!

Hello my sweet friend First of all, I was not aware you had a college son. Congrats my dear friend and oh boy do I know the feeling. I have two College graduates for which I thank heaven above that I was able to successful raise and put through college on my own. This is what completed my life and I often say, okay I am ready for what ever life brings me because my life is now complete. If I am afforded many more years wonderful if not I feel that I have lived not only my dream to successfully raise them but to have done so well with them both.

Hi my dear friend! Wow,didn't know you have two college graduates! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU! Wow! And you said it was on your own..you are one great great mother my dear friend! Your kids are so lucky to have you as their mother! Yes,it completed our life,as if we have put them already to the pedestal where they should be. But I know this will not end there, wish they will be successful on the field they want to go through. I know they will have a family of their own but I will still be there friend to guide them, hehe, even if they don't like, lol! See yah my dear friend!
