Are you a groupie?

Do you hang out with a group of friends all the time?
Do you arrange to go out with all the members of the group for every special occasion?
If one group member isn't there, does the whole thing fall apart?
Then you are a groupie!
Lately I've been hating this group of friends that wants me to be one of their groupies. Every birthday we have to make a birthday video that takes a week to make. They have to use a stupid pop song that always sounds the same. I have nothing in common with these people except that I'm japanese, but I don't listen to their music and I don't even speak their language because I have been raised in the US. It's really annoying that they make me do their birthday videos when I don't even speak japanese and they want me to lipsynch with their japanese songs. They don't even know that the word is lip-synch.. not lip sing.

Personally I would consider myself far from a groupie. There are times that you might find me hanging around someone and doing something with them, but most of the time it is best if I am alone. The only person you will truly find me hanging around with a lot of the time is my husband. He is truly my everything, and Fun to be around and usually do not have to worry about what he thinks, or would I hurt him by saying certain things as well.

I do not have many friends so I am definitely not a groupie! I have a few friends but they are not friends with each other. I have a family so I don't have time to hang out with my friends unless we do a play date so the children can come along. I usually get together with my friends every few months for dinner or a movie.

No..I am not a groupie. I did have a group of friends that I hung out with when I was younger, but that has been a long time ago. I like people but I am a bit of a loner. I am very social at work, but on my free time, I kinda do my own thing. I can see how it would be very irritating sometimes to be in a group like that sometimes.

Absolutely not! I would rather work on the computer, read a book or watch tv. The thought of hanging around people I have nothing in common with. Doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun for me. I would just be pretending to like whatever they were doing and that's not me. Best Wishes!

I wouldn't call myself a groupie but I do have a group of friends that I usually hang out with. We didn't form a group because we wanted to, but it just happened coz we are so much alike. I mean our likes, dislikes, thinkings and stuffs.
Actually the thing your friends does, as you say, sounds like pretty fun =)

I actually did not think I was and re-read your discussion and have to say that maybe I can be considered one bacause I do hang out quite a bit with the same crowd of actors from the Ensamble.
But they don't have me do anything though, good thing too because I do not act. lol
