I almost laughed when I heard few americans saying it. I mean they throw a bomb in Hiroshima for TEST and made them be born deformed for so many years, and radiation made people die of thirst and torture for weeks, and the number of people that died in Hiroshima can't be compeared to 9-11 although we all cried seeing that, but saying 9-11 was Us' Hiroshima is a joke. Just like americans showing in movies how the Vietnam was wrong. They raped girls, just destroyed an entire country and they were the heroes? That's a joke right? No, I think countries like uk, japan, us, old germany became rich by exploiting other countries, just like old rome. Japan probably became rich for exploiting and destroying China and Korea once, they took everything.

It's the pathetic situation of the world those days. It was either exploit, or get exploited. Even now, those who exploit others go higher and those who get exploited goes lower. Everyone wants to go higher- not to go down. And that's why the world has become a very competitive place to live in... Happy mylotting. Regards, Ajith.

If everyone in this world and every national leader think like you sure, the world would be a heaven to live in. But Good and Bad are inter-related. One can never seperate Evil from the world. It's like a pest... never get off! Just try to be happy thinking the fact tht its the evil part that really gives value to the goodness. And even I lke the hippy style: all love and peace.

Happy MyLotting dear, the best solution is end war and be like hippies: all love and peace, hahaha. If we holded hands I'm sure we could all be rich, to end Africa, Ethiopia's hunger, to help poor countries without making the rich being poor...It's the best solution. I don't think of us as countries, I'm even looking at this Hiroshima x 9-11 situation as an outsider, I'm no japanese so I can judge without taking sides. I think a world with fraternity will make the pooer get rich and the rich to continue rich. There's been too much leave other behind, like getting rich and powerful but not carring that third world countries are not going together. That's why as soon as I see I'm judging too much a race or someething I think in other ways, for example the good side of each race. It's too easy to be racist but it's wrong. And the diversity is so good isn't? So many countries and amazingly none is like other. The solution is really childish but I only see one: hold hands, become all friends, hahaha. The internet is here for that, we can really talk to each other it doesn't matter in what country we are.

Not to mention how Japan ruled Indonesia for a short period. I guess you are right, those country are getting rich and stronger by exploiting other countries. Well, I hope this all only happened in the past. Do you think US has a double standard?

So sad to hear that, but yes rich countries like a very old I hear about is old Rome for example, they ruled the world once, or Egypt, it seems like many other places are bullied so the rich gets richier. There are chinese or koreans that still very angry towards Japan.

I guess the old generations of Indonesian, Chinese and Korean who are still angry with Japan. Many of the younger generations are now learning Japanese, maybe for a chance to work there and have a better life...

I think it is pretty wrong for anyone, especialy Americans to compare the two disasters. Most of the people (not all) in the USA are blinded to what goes on in the rest of the world and they only get one viewpoint in the media from my experiences of living there. What the USA did in the Vietnam war is not much different to what they are doing these days in my opinion. Sticking their noses into other countries business and trying to control the world. Japan were just as bad though in the past and in a way became a better country after they were bombed out of the war. There is no right in any war. There is no justification for anything that our governments are doing today, or in the past in my opinion. Anyone that tries to justify a war is a fool that has been mislead by their government!

Hi katie: I have to agree with you. The consequence of Hiroshima were bigger. There was no reason to do this. The US is a I World Country and they do one of the most terrible things the humanity has done. There was no excuses for me. War might be ended by other means. In the case of the 9-11, yes it was sad and terrible but in this case it was an attack made by terrorists, the bad evil guys. In Hiroshima, it was a 'civilized' country, the "good ones" who has made this destruction. I hope you understand what I mean. Nice question ALVARO

Human Tragic killing each other. - There is no end .
Yup, it totally different and cannot compare an atomic explosion and 911, the vast destruction of hiroshima and nagasaki are bad compare with 911 , however, both are human tragic events that chances the world and such. Both are example of man hatred and violent towards each other ending up buthering each other and such and only stops when both side demostrate basically I am more violent and deadly than u symptoms.

Well if you think about it, they both have similar details, such as the element of surprize. You are right about the bombs affects, and about the raping, but you do have to keep in mind that because of the debree that was spread after the twin towers fell has caused many firefighters and volunteers many health problems.

Nobody threw a bomb at Hiroshima for a "test". We dropped the bombs on Japan to end the war immediately. I have no idea what that has to do with an act of terrorism, like 9-11.

katie when you are done bashing us Americans remember that was in the secpnd world war and a lot of countries were at war then and we lost a lot of lives at Pearl Harbor and yes those Japanese bombed and killed many people this was war in war countries do kill. you malign a lot of really decent Americans who are mylotters here. what heads of state did is not our fault at all.I do not know where you are from but I dislike using this for forum, to bash anyone's countries. this is not all Americans and I dislike America bashing as you all seem to forget one thing any disaster in any country they look to my country for help and we give it too.
