What makes the Korean Drama series Secret Garden appealing to its viewers?

When I saw the trailer of the said Korean show, the appearance & character of the heroin appealed to me. She is strong, yet fragile. Strong willed with principle. I easily fell for her, with her pretty face and spunky character. Initially, I don't like the character of Hyun bin because he was so dogmatic, brat and spoiled. However, when you get to see his true character, which are loving, confused & lost, yet stubborn, the viewers would surely fall for his characterization. Girls are usually are suckers for brute yet caring treatment. Even the strongest of characters among females are softened if the male character would exhibit strength in their relationship. I guess this is the same reason why I loved the said telenovela. The people's weaknesses and strength are very real. See it and you will surely find it fun and entertaining to watch. How I wish that there's an English version of it.
