hi friends .so far 6 centuries has been hit in the IPL and each one is special in its own way. Paul Valthaty: no prior domestic experience but caught the eye of the indian public with the blistering knock against the defending champions CSK.its more like "look at your new star" kinda century. Sachin Tendulkar: pretty much everyone wondered when the century boy will enter the T20 century holders list and he did get there and propelling his team to a good score but lost the game. its one of those "start my count here " kinda century. Chris Gayle: not picked in the auction, removed from the squad and he got his revenge very very quickly by knocking 2 centuries in a single edition of IPL .its one of those " how do you like this,***** " kinda century. Virender Sehwag: he said he would like to play all 50 overs before the match and he almost did it and giving scare to lot of sachin's fans about the 200 run record getting broken. he said he needed to bat longer and he did and single-handedly took his team to victory while chasing.probably the only guy who can go from neutral to 5th gear in a blink.its one of those " i am not just talk " kinda century. Adam Gilchrist: A young valthaty was scoring freely.a marsh is continuing his good form.even the mercurial karthik is performing.it must be hard for the captain who is extremely known for his attacking play. going at less than 120 kinda strike rate, with critics saying "if you really want to watch gilchrist in his glory, get an old DVD of him",he needed to come big. and he did. pretty much took everyone to the blistering century against mumbai indians in the first edition of IPl.the eyes of priety zinta told pretty much how desperate the team was waiting for this knock. its a " Stop making tombstones.I ain't finished " kinda century and this is my favourite among al the others. which is yours and most importantly why?

Hi, to me the best century is the one scored by Virendra Sehwag. Now why it stands out?It is because of the commitment that he showed which is quite unlike Sehwag. He waited for his moment, picked the bowlers and went on to score and accumulate runs.It shows another aspect of the man as a batsman.Normally we see him going after the bowling but the resilience that he showed is awesome.

good.thats what i meant when i said he goes from neutral to 5th gear in a blink.it was one of the most awesome innings he played and more importantly he played with caution and didn't threw it away

Now my favorite century in this IPL 4 season is of Gilchrist's because he had that responsibility and thats also upto an important match for them to make sure that they can win more game to get a chance to play in play off. His way of batting way of hit sixes made me crazy, even in my house i was shouting like anything because of his shots.

Out off all this centuries mine favorite would Virender Shewag that century came in a must win game in the 2nd innings and with team lost about 4 wickets with not much runs on the board and pace at which he scored was great
