On Monday i was returning to work from my vacation and the first thing i saw when turned on my relatively new (bought at January this year) PC was blue error screen for my Windows 7 running machine! I had never seen it before with this OS and was surprised. maybe it was some sort of cool PC welcome to me after i didn't used it for several weeks. Anyway that was strange comeback for me.

Well it sometimes happen even in new computers. If you can't boot up after you already reseted your computer then that is the problem.

Its also a surprise for me. I am using Win7 from last 4-5 months and till date haven't got any issue with this OS. Its great OS far better and polished toll then Vista or even XP. The blue screen is really a nightmare for Win class of OS as its the first sign of OS crash. Thankfully my Win7 is running extremely good and i really feel its great OS after probably XP from Microsoft. Hope you did not lost ur OS or any data and system working fine for you.

Well, I have been through the blue screen on 2-3 different Windows versions. So, I know it throws everything out of gear and makes any work impossible for at least 3-4 hours till the problem persists, and at times entire system has to be re-formatted.

The blue screen does not necessarily mean that you have an issue. Until it happens again, act as if it it never happened and as if it's not going to happen again. If it does happen again, however, be ready to jot down the code it gives you! If you're using W7, then you will be given a fairly comprehensive error report after the fact. Find out what your error is related to via the report you receive. Blue screens are not one-size-fits-all things. You could have crashed for any one of a million reasons, from a software program simply failing to load properly to a USB port malfunctioning.

Thanks for your advice. Next time which i hope never will happen, i will write down errors on screen or make a photo of screen to find answer what it could mean to my PC.

But has it happened only once or every time you turn it on? It's a fact that every Windows installation will eventually face a blue screen. If it happen once in a while, no problem, just spare yourself of the angry, reboot and start over. But if that is every time, you have a problem, most likely requiring system repair or re-installation. Have you found the cause? I remember when I first purchase my then new notebook (that I'm using right now). It came pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium. On the very first day after buying it, while installing a bunch of programs into it, on a reboot it crashed with a blue screen, yes, with only 1 (one) day of usage. The problem keep appearing from time to time until I finally formatted it and installed a fresh Windows copy.

That may have been the Software maybe not Shut Down Properly or a Boot Error at Start Up. As maybe it is a New P.C. maybe the Hard Drive has a Lose Cable or Card Inside from Vibration When something Shook the Computer Lightly. If something was Wrong You would Hear some Beeps at Start Up. You would need to Hear How many Beeps the P.C. Makes. Then get the Machine Looked at unless Your Handy with Computers. But of All is Well just reboot the Machine and not Concerned. These Things can Happen as What can I say. Computers can have some Bugs in the Software.

What surprise me the most was that it happened only once and didn't happened again. I tried to scan PC on errors to fix them, still nothing. Maybe it was some sort of windows update problem.
