Hello LOtters,
Just let you in a secret a bit. as some of you know, my dad works as a caregiver now in Reno, US for almost more than a decade. at first he didn't have good experience there, but lately, he's been getting used to it, and seen the pictures of 3 yrs ago that HE LOST WEIGHT
Well, just before he went to the states a few years back, he was a former executive director of the FPOP or Family Planning Organization of the Philippines. oh, yeah can you imagine me going with him in his office, full of freaking articles about contraception on ALL LEVELS. Pills, injectibles, and other stuff that most ANTI-RH bill people would think as IN-human and against the ALL MIGHTY CHURCH. they was even a video about it but i was too shy and went away because the commercial involves two naked teens
. that was like 1992 or something. I never really understand it but my thoughts on it as a kid was to merely prevent Unwanted Pregnancy and AIDS..there was even a model of women's fallopian tube on display Hahaha. those were the days, I rarely hear the Groups about the people in Pro-Life's. He was there since the 80's and left during my high-school days and went to IIRR. well, am sure he has a lot to say about it, i guess i should asked him some day but my skype is almost depleted now.
But what thrills me more is how the ANTI-RH BILL MANNY and his colleagues would go against the PRO RH BILL mostly veterans. but still manny is green in this information, but i agree with Senator Sotto that manny should be debrief about it's good points, and disadvantages. but no point discussing it any further, i hope the debate would settle the issue LET's GET IT ON!
PS: FPOP office in QC is like a White House like structure. some roads of it are near the Balete Drive. you can imagine me getting scared at night there because of fearing white ladies.

I just researched and read in full the RH Bill. But still have to go through it on why so many are against it.
Well, i was even discussing it with my husband and he also said maybe there was something in it about abortion and i did looked for that part but the RH Bill does not even go for abortion and says there that the Law regarding abortion will stay the same..but why are so many against it? I believe that use of contraceptives is being responsible. Still at lost on so many people going pro and anti against it
Go and ask your dad his opinion on the RH bill.
oh well. wow so did you see any white ladies before?

probably but then when it comes to abortion, i believe that is entirely a different topic, though related but...majority still agrees that abortion is not right..i just do not know how these people think. anyways, yes bills are pretty high at home... water bill is high - kids love to take a bath, if you will not look after them, it will take them more than an hour inside the bathroom playing with water! electric bill is high - kids spend time on television especially now its summer..and food needs to be in stock.. they eat nonstop.

Hello
Jazel,
Maybe they generally fear abortion as the next stepping stone, or lack of information as well in the RH bill or simply for biblical purpose which is they claim as against GOD. Well, you have more than enough kids I am not sure about how you can get along with the bill maybe it can be beneficial. Well, they were just imaginery but it was still kinda scary because the office is much like a white house and haunted scene on the outside of it.have a nice day.

Its nice to know that your Dad worked once in FPOP. When I was still in college (1986)we went there to get get resource papers for our research. Since then I told my self if ever I could have a family of my own , I would put in use what I have learned from all those resource papers I got there. I am now married, a school teacher and I always tell young parents to practice birth control, not abortion of course because it is not the same. I am for RH bill and for the maternal rights of women. Those priest do not know about giving birth and how women feel about getting pregnant all the time. Being a parent is a great responsibility and great responsibility comes with matured thinking and opinion which Pacquio lacks.

Hello
Edna,
Wow!
I was like two years old back then? Was there any chance that you might have met him there, as I recall he was there already in the 80s but probably not as an officer then. I guess RH bill benefits for women mostly because it protects them from having too many kids or having unwanted pregnancies. I don't think manny lacks matured thinking and opinion, he lacks information and resources as to why he should be against it.

Is that reproductive health? Here, those words are code for abortion, which I don't like. They also call it "choice" to pretty it up. They call it anything but what it is. I'm all for reproductive health and birth control but I don't agree with abortion.

Hello Dragon,
That's exactly what the Anti-RH Bills knights doesn't want to happen. thre will come a time where the RH BILL can still be change through conventional meetings and could add something there.
. actually, yeah i think so i have forgotten all about it since it's been a decade. theyr'e pro choice though am not sure bout those stuff that was for anti pregnancy

it gets confusing now. RH bill (although i have not read the contents) is being tagged as abortion bill.
i dont think it is. the contraceptives are not meant to kill a fetus. scheduling a pregnancy is very different from abortion.

Hello
Sis Jaiho,
Well,
not as memorial as any other issues that had been debated before, but I guess it's still considered as one of the most important ones.I don't know really, having nephews and nieces seems to be annoying already but sometimes it's fun seeing the kids play around with each other having this really innocent smile on their faces. Thanks a lot.

There are some good points on the RH Bill. It has some good intentions of helping out the country. Manny should really have to be briefed on the points. His comments are just so drastic and much more "uneducated " in the sense that it doesn't relate much on the bill. I bet he really haven't read it yet as he was busy practicing for the recent fight he had.
I would be for PRO Family planning, birth control like pills and contraceptives, just not pro abortion.
Your dad would have a better view on the bill and i would welcome the opportunity to hear or read here what he says... :)

Hello
Chuyins,
What I want to hear is his points of not approving the RH Bill, it's really hard to support his statements because it's limited and doesn't convince me at all. It's not really uneducated but more common and not that logical compare to other politicians who knew better and have points why it should be approved or not. Unfortunately, Anti-RH BILL would always connect ABORTION to the bill fearing it will be added some day.
