http://www.csmonitor.com/Science/2011/0518/Judgment-Day-May-21-When-will-the-world-actually-end The world is supposed to come to end on Saturday. This is why I think religion is a crock for the most part. Who in their right minds really believes that 4% of the population is going to be taken away to the hereafter, and the rest of us will be left to suffer?

OH NO--THE WORLD IS GOING TO END THIS SATURDAY? Please gag me with a spoon How on earth these geniuses came up with May 21st as the end of the world I don't know---perhaps someday eons from now the world will, but no one, no one can predict this--as for that 4% of the population thing...there actually are a series of books --the Left Behind series written by Tim LaHaye that deals with this very thing. That the "good and righteous" and those believing in Christ will be spared while the rest of us rot in hell--I did read the first book, and got disgusted as it was too preachy. Many denominations of Christianity really do believe this though, and in my opinion kind of an insult to any of us who are of a different religious path, such as myself who is pagan/wiccan

I just don't get any of it. If God is supposed to love everyone, why are just a few going to be "chosen"?

Im a christian and believe in god however i think this prediction is a lot of rubbish this isnt the first prediction of judgement day and none of those have come true.Personally i believe that we are not supposed to know when it will be and that it will come when we are least expecting it.I think that the person who made this prediction isn't a liar as they think it is true but misguided and a bit thick.

Well the guy telling this story is considered a false prophet. He makes God look like a fool and anyone who believes in him. I am a christian, with a firm faith and belif in God. Its upsets me to know he is lying about this. He wrote a book titles 1994 I believe it was claiming the world wld end or possibly later. He has a question mark at the end of 1994 since he wasnt to sure. So this isnt the first time he has claimed this to be happening. He has also taken scripture and turned it to fit his needs. He is a liar. We do not know when the rapture will happen, thats Gods plan. He dosnt want anyone to know. I guess one reason if we knew the world wld end on a certain date everyone wld live how they want and repent the day before. Dosent mean you wld be saved, but its a theory. Harold Camping is a liar. False Prophet who in my book is not a real Christian. He has to many lies to post on here, but you can check him out. I dont recomend taking anything he says to heart, but Im not concerned about the world ending on the 21st. God wldnt have it end on a day everyone expected. It wld be the 20th or 22nd. I believe in my God and when the rapture happens it happens, but having this guy going around lying just makes me mad.

I'm glad to hear the vast majority of people think he's a liar.
