I hate seeing children grow up with parents who are so foolish. It's just really sad to see them instill ignorant values into their children. Do you ever feel this way about people you have known for a long time who eventually have children? I don't like to be biased against people but there are times when people are obviously ignorant - like when they are racists, homophobic, or really opinionated about subjects that don't really have any importance.

We have new neighbors like this. Their daughters are 8,3 and 1 and they let them ride big wheels down the street in this trailer park. We saw one of them almost get hit and one night they were outside at 10:30 at night playing. The parents are nowhere to be seen when they are outside. A friend was watching the kids because he didn't see the parents around and a woman came out and said he was creepy. Our son is eight and we don't allow him to play on the street here because cars drive too fast through here. The first day those kids were here they were trying to play with power tools, the doorbell and walked right in when I opened the door. We don't trust these new neighbors and to make matters worse, they have a pit bull. Not saying all them are bad, but they aren't the best dog to have in a trailer park with so many people close together.

I agree. I think parents should let their children make those kind of decisions. But growing up in a bias household doesn't give the child much of an option. They are forced to listen to this ignorance day in and day out. How can they learn anything different. Then they go off to school and all heck breaks loose because the child doesn't know any better. It's a SAD world we live in. Best Wishes!

Classification of ignorance, stupidity. opinionated -- is again opinionated. The way we look at others, things. So it is difficult to take a stand on these issues. However you are right children should be brought in an unbiased way and not directed to wrong ways.

I pity kids growing on a wrong living. Its really sad to learn that innocent children walk on the wrong path that their parents lead them. I understand that parents love their kids but as a parent, we must teach them what is right from wrong like adults laugh on a kid when he/she fight or hurt someone for something. When kids become bully, we tell it to others boasting of how they've bullied others, and worse, the kids can hear us and they feel that what they did is something great and that they will do t again. How many of us realized that these acts of kids will lead to something worst than what they did? I pray that parents must realize their importance of their role on raising their children.
