Sg-1 lasted 10 years. Atlantis ran for 5. Universe made it only through 2 years. It looks like this is the end on the line for the series. The last show of Universe was also disapponting. All along you figured that somehow, someway, the crew woul make it back to Earth. Instead the show was cancelled and the final show seemed like just a way to end the show without a real conclusion. What do you think and do will you miss the series?

Though a fan of SG-1,I've only yet seen SG-U on internet TV..and I haven't even managed to follow that regularly, and wasn't aware it had been axed..I'd kept waiting for it to develop more, was my problem with it.Once I get to watch what's left,I'll probably be disappointed when I get to the end..but at least it had a Better run than "Firefly" was given!

Firefly should have run on SyFy in th first place instead of Fox. Over the years Fox developed a number of scifi like shows that were cancelled too soon and might have had longer life on cable.

The only one I'll really miss is Stargate SG-1. I was madly addicted to SG 1. I must admit that when Jack stopped being a regular the show lost a few points for me, but I eventually warmed up to Mitchel. I watched 2 episodes of Atlantis and then was like "Nah I don't like it". Since I was so disappointed in Atlantis I never bothered with Universe, but since you said it only lasted 2 years I'd say I wasn't missing much. I was actually still watching SG 1 re-reruns until Netflix took it off. Still so upset about that:(.

I thought SG-1 was still on Netflix. I hoped to watch it there after watching other shows first. I've been watching Farscape which is Ben Browder's earlier show. Claudia Black who played Vala was also on that show. I lost a lot of interest in SG-1 when Beau Bridges came on. Atlantis was much different than the other shows. Since it mostly took place on a space craft, the images were darker and some of the main characters were harder to get into.

Well they still need to release the Atlantis movie to conclude that series and they said something about continuing SG-U on some other medium, but I doubt any of that is happening. I'm really started to lose hope the movie is ever going to come out.
So yes, I think it's the end of the stargate franchise and I really hate that idea. It was one of the more humoristic, quality scifi shows out there.

They cancelled plans for the movie at the same time they cancelled SG-U.
