What if your relationship is like a "You and Me Against the World"?

Hello Fellow Mylotters,
Just a quick one, what if your relationship is like a "you and me against the world type"? As in your friends and relatives dont agree to the man that you love.
It is indeed hard to go on a relationship like this, but, what can I do, I really love the guy and willing to handle everything for him. However, I do also care for my family as well as closest friends. That, most of the time, I ask them, what is that thing that they dont want to the man I love. What is that thing that they have seen since they react that much. Why I cannot find it so I can also react as the way they are reacting.
Really, I do not know what to do.

hi,
i always experienced that in my life,you and me against the world,so sad and so hard in that position,sometimes i wanted to escape and ignore everything but i need to face it,even i fight for my love,still i was failed.there was a time that i need to choose between my family and my lover.really so hard.
