I just hate that ad page taking over mylot

I simply hate that idea an ad page will take over mylot while I was doing my clicking and browsing on the available discussions. When I click on new discussion hyperlink, another page simply taking over, it was totally an ad page by selling something. Then I just have to skip it, and continue on mylot. Anyway, I understood the growing of mylot might attracts many advertisers promotion, but we still won't be interest in those products yet. I think majority of us rather focus making money or post discussions rather than shop here, am I right?

I think it is linked to the links rather than a regular pop-up. My pop-up blocker ordinarily catches everything but it hasn't done diddly with the GeoAds. They've figured out a way to get around the pop-up blockers. I don't like them one bit. I hope GAA is listening in on this one.

That is because I think they are a redirect rather than a pop-up, so the pop-up blocker would not be affective against them. They also seem to only occur for people in certain areas (mostly the United States, although there may be other areas as well). I suspect that it is a random event in the scripting code as it does not happen all the time, so there is not really any way to predict when it will happen.

Ah. I hate those things too. Cafe Mom is getting on my last nerve! It just decides to take over when I don't want nit to. I wish it didn't. 
It should only pop up when I want it!
I wish there was a way to remove it, but I don't think so. Stupid thing!
