Yesterday Tv stations in my country aired a "doomsday documentary" That the world will end in May 21 2011 and the TV station I think intentionally aired it because all of those billboards everywhere. Their prediction is much more earlier than 2012. LOL we are all still alive. The world didn't end. I just hope that by 2013 we are all still laughing. I know there is also a doomsdays hype that failed in the year 2000. Its such an epic fail! My mom and dad take those billboards seriously they gave me a phone call and ask me to go to church. I hope all those doomsday billboards scattered around the metro will be removed ASAP. ALL DAT HYPE!!

It was an epic fail indeed The only thing I kind of worried about that if it did happen, I would have missed Doctor Who

If God will destroy this world, He should let me watch the last seasons of my favorite Tv shows first and let me watch some of the movies that has been hyping me for months. Seriously Hell Sucks since its Hell and Heaven sounds boring because its an endless church service.

LoL. I always kind of imagined that heaven would be tailored to each individual and that it would have every TV season and movie available for me to watch for all eternity At least I hope it will! I just wonder will they allow horror movies.

Its a sign MysD I wonder how many that took it seriously, did they not bother going into work all week, max out their credit cards? or do thing they would not normally do. If they did I bet they are regretting it now

i have a very religious mom, but even her didn't make any comment about any such thing as dooms day. for 2012, 2011 or even in previous years. hehe i was not able to see the airing on the television nor the billboards. both, i didn't have much time for to see or not at all interested. i believe that for mortals like us, we would live til the day we have to leave... doomsday or not. all that hype on doomsday, especially as you said it's on billboards... is just a way to get attention. anyways... we are definitely still alive and... mylotting. lol

so you mean our purgatory is spending it in mylot? i guess i wasn't paying much attention to the billboards or the cab was avoiding where they were placed. it was just office-hotel-mall-home for me whenever i go to the metro. i look forward to a lot of things happening in 2012. dooms day isn't one of them. lol

Hi Capt, I see there is plenty to dance about, love the avatar! I shall post here so we can dance together. Yeah you are so right so much effort into ending that it appears many forgot to plan for today. I saw a few of them yesterday and did not bother to stop and read them. lol I did go to sleep with the intent to wake up breathing today so here you have me, breathing with a cold but happy that I am still alive.

I think I did stopped and paused while walking when I saw all of those billboards but i didn't took it seriously.

My mom told me not to believe those crap, and even if she did believe I still wouldn't...it's just that there were so many times that the world is predicted to end then nothing happened, right? If it ends, then it would...

I'm sure the world is going to end someday but i'm sure its not in our lifetime. I wonder what will be the excuse of those evangelists now. I cant believe a major Tv network fell for that.

Everything has an end for sure but I am sure it's not in our lifetime. Those people who claim the world have an sad that viable as their bases but for sure it's not what the bible as saying. As is at bible never mentioned a date but those people who claims the world is going to end this mentioning a date. See you in October And in 2012

I breathe polluted air everyday because the air in my city is dirty, I hate my job because its stressful as hell but I love living. It feels so good to be alive. No matter how sad life is there is always a glimmer of hope everyday.

Yeah, and even the Family radio that declared it is gone now- I wonder where they went..maybe they are afraid to face the questions of the people. I don't really believe in those predictions at all- no one can tell when doomsday would happen..but still, we should all be prepared for it.

I think they should just stop giving predictions, since not many people listen anyway because people are so busy with hteir lives nad work.. How do they get these dates anyway?
• Calgary, Alberta

They mention that those dates ,, Are on the bible, weird as it may sound that is what they believe. They already failed three times how embarrassing is that.

Family Radio gives out a new date, IK hope people wont bite their damage control this time around. No more second chances for them, if their 2nd guess will fail again they will have a worst reputation.

I have seen the news about that the other day but I didn't know that they have a documentary of that yesterday. I got a bit worried when I heard of it but I told myself that no one really knows when this world will end. We can't stop living because there are people saying when the world ends. If we stop living, it means we lose hope and we lose faith. Whether there are news telling the world will end or whether there isn't, we should live with our values and be good. We shouldn't wait for those news for us to change and be better.

I am not a perfect person. I also commit mistake and sins but I ask for forgiveness and I wish to God that those news are not true so I can fulfill my dreams not only for me but also for my parents. I also wish that He would touched the minds and hearts of the people so we can all be better.

Why God has to be so strict, T___T its really hard to be a moral person. He should be loving us people instead of punishing us.

Yea :) As usual, daily life just continues. I dont beleive that because they predicted with date and time. And it fails. Nobody knows when it will be happen. Just wait and it will come suddenly or it will show first some signs that the end is near. So far no terrible signs. Back to everyday living.

The people who spread this hoax just turned down their website due to the negative reaction they have. they didnt learn their lesson and they have a new prediction that is most likely to fail epicly,

hello cap, I wonder why people want to scare others...what's on their heads to do those things. There are so many things to get busy with and not scaring other people. Ok...final day will come...but who knows when? And why people taking those predictions seriously...how many people ever predicted "end of the world" eh...and how many people failed? So...why the h*ck believing those fraud prophets...? huh? We can prepare ourselves for the judgment day...but not scaring people, that way. Enjoy weekend cap

Did you know many of those people who believes those fraud prophets donated all of their hard earned cash to the church so they can spread 'awareness' and their souls will be get 'salvation' I think I saw it in yahoo that the aftermath of this mass hysteria is kinda crazy. They dont have any explanation why their predictions failed.

I don't why people are so concerned on these 'doomsday' theories. We all know that the end is coming and practically nobody knows when and where it is going to happen. I think any 'doomsday theory' with a date is a hoax. There is no way that a group of people or a person can decipher and predict the end of the world with such accuracy. I think some people give in early in their fears and refuse to follow their minds when it comes to instances like these. We rule by our emotions and fear is often one of those feelings that turn against us. Sometimes, we need to take a step back and think about these things, if they are really worthy of our attention and our time.

I think if God felts like it to destroy the world and do the judgement day and apocalypse he will do it by surprise.I think he will do it once morality is not existing anymore and I think Morality still exist, people still know the difference between right and wrong, when people are not expecting it. The bible dont even confirm any date of the apocalypse so all prediction is just prediction with 90% chance to be wrong. 2012 is actually prediction of ancient Mayans and theyw ere all gone.

Everything I have heard about it has been online. I think it's just based on faith, and now a bunch of people are freaking out that the world is going to end. i will believe it when it is based on science, like with the sun having its solar flares next year. I haven't seen anything on the billboards, but i agree...it's another fail...:)-

The last time I check, Our sun is still young enough not to end up as a supernova. By Scientific and Biblical stand point, I'm sure the world is not going to end yet. Its so not going to be in our lifetime.
