Where is "Rapture" in The Holy Bible?

I am a Christian, and follow The Holy Bible, but I don't understand where so many fellow Christians get the doctrine of "The Rapture". I can't find it anywhere in scripture.
I know there will be a 2nd Coming of Christ, and 1,000 years of peace where Christ reigns. I can even find where Satan will be loosed at the end of that time.. but where does it say that the righteous will be taken from the earth, followed by a time of tribulation?
Can anyone help me out here?

I Thessalonians 4:15-18
There are some Christians who do not believe in the rapture. I personally after some twenty years of study and listening to all sides of the question, do. Here is a link to what I believe on the subject.

You can find the concept even in the Old Testament in Genesis 5:24.
I hope this answers your question.

Yes, that talks about the 2nd coming and that those who believe in Christ will rise, but it says nothing about what happens next. But Revelations makes it pretty clear that the 2nd coming will usher in the 1000 years of peace.

A link to a study on the Jewish Wedding and how it shows the pre tribulation rapture or catching away of the church.

There is more than one video in the series.

Yes, but there seems to be a contradiction here. The doctrine of the Rapture ignores everything about the thousand years of peace, followed by satan being loosed "for a season".
