The movie year when it all began...

I grow up watching mighty ducks and free willy... however when the year 1998 began i became a movie lover, I hadn't realize until a couple of months ago that most of my favorite movies were from that year named: Saving Private Ryan, Armageddon, Deep Impact, Mulan, Prince of Egypt, Shakespeare in Love, The Mask of Zorro, City of Angels, Mercury Rising and others... How about you, any favorite movies in a particular year?

i dont recall the year but I have loved watching movies ever since i can remember. As a child my mom had this rule that lights should be turned off by 9pm but during some fridays she would make an exception and sit with us while we watch movies. that habit stayed with me but of course now i can stay up late whenever I want to
