Have you ever won any award yet? I have never won any award in my life before. I am just a normal and common person like most people do.One day, when I turn on the TV And there seems to be some kinds of award going on and I started to pay more attention to it.It said that the local government is giving out an award to the best citizen of the year for this city and the winner was such and such a person, wow, what a glorious moment. Although it may not be a big thing to you to get such an award. But would you like to have one? what would you do if once you have an award like this? Share with us.

If I won an award, I would establish some charitable foundation to boost the arts, save the trees, promote literacy, fund medical research, or to modernize libraries and theatres.

That sound like a pretty cool reward to me. I'd be grateful for winning something like that. It's the recognition, coupled with the fact that, you aren't doing whatever it is you do for the opportunity of getting a reward. It's usually good Samaritans who go out of there way to help others all of the time who receive something like that.

Well, with all things considered, probably it's better to do without the award. To get an award is always an exciting and glorious feeling, but for this particular award, it seems the recipient will have a lot of weight on his/her shoulders because everyone in the community will be watching his/her every move and seeing him/her as a role model. Put one foot out of line and BAM, there goes your reputation as the citizen of the year...... So, if you ask me, no thanks to an award like this..... But if I ever were to be bestowed with an award like this, I will definitely try to be a role model to the community by trying my best to help the people and participating in more social events and do more volunteering work. It will be hard work though......

i had never won an award yet, and i am sure i will not be chosen as the best person on our city or barangay, i dont go out that much and join some of the events we have here. i've seen banners of people who had been chosen as the best person in our area because he is always supproting almost all the programs there is here. he also build a hall where the senior citizen (just like he is) has an area where they can meet seniors like them and have a chat, or talk about anything. he also started a program of elderly exercise and every weekend there is a ball room session at the hall. the other day i saw a karaoke machine brought there, maybe an additional recreation or bonding. he deserves to have that award.

I would think of it as a proud honor to hold. Having someone think you deserve the right to be called a best citizen and be awarded for it is something to take pride in. i would not be embarrassed by it and would accept with dignity and respect for my city.

I must say that it wouldn't mean anything to me unless I got some money. I won a reward for having worked fourteen years at the amusement park. I was a piece of paper and for all the money they've gotten from our hard work, they could have done more.

It's a pretty tough award. It connotes a lot of pressure on the person too. LOL. To be awarded such, you should have displayed a very good reputation as a citizen of the city haha. Well anyway that's how I view it. As to if i ever have an award. Yes. But the most recent is the one I would always smile every time I remember it. LOL. It's the "PERFORMER of the NIGHT" award... LOL. I didn't expect there was such an award. I got it for playing the Worst drunkard, cruel father. After the presentation, one of the big boss rushed to me and said, "Hey man, I was wondering if you are really a drunkard for real?" I was like "Hell, NO!!!!! But Was I that good therE?" LOL. It's a real great night for me, and for the whole team. I got the award individual, plus we won the grand prize for the best presentation. And up to now, if I think of that night I really smile. I don't know if I'd ever have another award in the future. LOL.
