I know i feel that way right now. Seems like I have spent most of my life struggling and frankly i am getting tired of it. I went from working to hurting my back and now can't work, so there went that extra income. Some days I am depressed about it and some days I just plain don't care. Does anybody else feel that way?

Just great to find there are people to help you up if you fall or to hold onto to get you through the worst parts xx

Hi Tammy I'm sorry that things didn't turn out right for you. I know how it is like feeling this way. I guess we all somehow will go through the same struggle in our lives. Consider it as a trial and we learn from there and we'll get smarter each time we learn. That extra income will come eventually, you just need to be patient a little while longer. I believe that if you keep up with the things that you are good at (like your designs), your hard work will pay off eventually. Anyway, I hope that you will recover soon from your backache. If you ever need to talk to someone, I am always here for you, my friend.

Don't get me wrong, I have alot to be grateful for.. but sometimes it just feels it gets to be to much. My husband is having to work alot because we need the money and I sometimes feel guilty about it. I know that it wasn't my fault hurting my back, but I still feel that way. I know one day that things will get better, so I am trying to stay positive. Ty I appreciate your friendship.

I know how you feel. I am currently dissatisfied with my life as well. I don't have any motivation to change it because I feel helpless on what to do. The only thing I can think about is how wrong my life is right now. But I can not seem to figure out what to do about it. It will come to us. There is a saying that goes "It can't get any worse"!

that is actually how I feel. I also don't have any motivation even though I know I want to change it, but like you I don't know how to do it. Seems everything i have tried has failed.

Believe me do I know this feeling. I went from a 6 1/2 figure salary to absolutely zero. No unemployment nothing, therefore I certainly know exactly what it is like to be struggling as a single parent, mortgage and 140K college tuition. So the only thing we can do is take one day at a time. Believe me it is not easy and have lost everything I worked so hard to earn. So I wake up very positive minded and well take it as the day goes. I have not given up yet, though there are days I prefer to crawl in bed and never come out. It has been now 1 1/2 years with the constant daily battle but I have yet to lay in bed because I refuse to give up and continue to try on a daily basis. Best of luck to you and hope the rehab treatments for your back allow you to at least get some comfort there.

wow, I can imagine that is a big blow for you. It can happen anytime, alot of people have good paying jobs and then one day its gone. It just goes to show what life can bring you. I keep telling my husband that is god testing us :) but in the end I do believe it will only make us stronger, because we have been through alot in just this year alone and still standing. I guess that saids something.

Hope you heal fast and find things getting easier for you. I think everyone at some time in their lives find themselves in a situation they would rather not be in. I've been there many times and I can tell you better times will show up. Cheer up!

Yes, I know how you feel. Life is tough, that's for sure. You just need to claw your way out of the hole. Try eating really healthy and exercising, that always helps me.

I feel that way today as a matter of fact. Our business has been struggling for over three years now. It took 20 years to build and only three years to reduce us to the point of almost having to start all over again! It somehow seems pointless to continue but I have yet to secure employment so there is not much left to do except keep trying. Very depressing situation!

I have had many experiences where i felt that my life was in a rut. when you fall into a rut, you almost always feel that you will never get out of it. It can be a difficult road, but getting out of the rut is the best thing to do for your life.

Well, I feel the same sometimes, but my situation is different than yours. I was indebted to credit cards, and my friend add insult to my injury, scam me on another credit card debt which I never spent money on, but we both share the business account, and he simply took advantage of me. What a scumbag, I hope that his children, or his wife, even himself will suffer the same in the near future, to see how it feels to be scammed.

This is the order of the day in many countries. the reason for that is -- lack of adequate job opportunities, successes at very young age and not knowing what to do thereafter, media's good and bad influence on society, on us, expectations of people from others on high side, small families and hence lot of intolerance of difficulties/people. A few days you may feel tired and not feeling like working. On other days you feel like very active and perform more than what u can do in two days. It happens. Remedy - practice meditation and yoga. Stay alone every day for five/ten minutes without thinking about anything. Do not get accustomed any one place/people/things. have a good day

I've been there, Or should I say, I'm still stuck here. I graduated in a course I didn't want to take, the one I truly wanted to do is so far away (from my current standpoint), and I had no other choice but to move on. And it sucks.

It is inside one's heart where all the battles of life have to be won. I left the job because I could not stand the attitude of the acting director and I did not await improvement of the situation. I did not want to destroy my life anymore. I try to have more strength and not to let unpleasant persons make me upset.
