Friendster is still alive??

What has happened to it, even though it made changes and had more games now- people still prefer facebook or twitter.. I don't even open my account there anymore. Do you still use this social networking site?

I have not been using it, but since you ask I went in to check it out, it seems that it is still alive and I am able to login to that account I have a long time ago.

I don't even remember the last time I logged in there..but I remember that it looks better, really colorful and cute now. I heard that it might close or something- but it's just a rumor.

It is not closed at the moment, it look very much like facebook but green in color. I think you might want to go have a look.

It is still alive, they deleted all the pictures I uploaded, but its not hat and since those pictures were already in my Facebook. I still use it because Facebook is kinda crowded, But I use it much more rarely. Its a gaming site now instead of a social network. I have no more pictures.

Oh, so they took out all of the pictures now..what about the testimonials? I am not really into gaming now since I get easily addicted to it- so maybe i am going to avoid Friendster..

I never really had a friendster account. But I have heard in the news that they are closing down to make new changes, to make their site much better. Let's just wait and see in a few months, maybe it will be famous again.

yes, I have heard that in the news too. They can't compete with facebook now -even though they did some changes and tagging of photos like Facebook.. I am quite looking forward to see a whole new Friendster.

Yeah, it's still there. I check my account once in a while and I see that some people I know still log in regularly to play games. I heard they are going to revamp the site with the aim of being better than facebook.

Oh yes, I have heard about that, they said they were closing the site to make it better.. Let's just wait and see what the new Friendster would be like. I just checked it a while go and nw they have more games and tagging of pics...

Friendster still working yet there are slight competing with facebook anymore. Friendster prioritize more on gamings now. I don't know if Email address and Password will still work since there are migration took place. Its sad to know that friendster out shined over facebook.

Some sites will always be better than others- only time can tell... Maybe facebook would be out shined someday too. I hope I can still log-in on my old account though..

It still is alive, but for all we know. It will have its reformat. All the photos and comments on your profile will be deleted. But there is this program that allows you to save your profile--all the comments and photos. Use the profile exporter.

I don't really care much for my photos there since I didn't have much... But it was good while it lasted, until Facebook came. I hope they make it better this time so they can compete with FB.

I have a few account in friendster but I already forgot the log in name and password. I better check if I can still open it so I can backup my pictures

You better check it immediately- I think they are closed now... but they aren't anymore.. And I saw in updates that there are still lots of people in Friendster.. not my friends though..

I still receive notifications from Friendster so I think it's still alive. I don't remember when the last time I went there. FB totally killed that site.

Yes, poor friendster, it has totally lost to Facebook. I still receive some notifications every week too, but I don't check them out, I just delete them.. Maybe if a much better social networking site would surface, fb would be gone too.

No, it was on the news a few days ago, I thought it was going to end- they said they would close friendster for a while- make some changes, to compete with facebook. They will open up a few days or weeks after that.

Somehow, yes. I only opened it yesterday. Even though I do not receive notifications from Facebook that much nowadays. I only used that because I wanted to use the Photo Exporter and send all my albums to Flickr. Even though I exceeded the limit of 200 photos, I have to delete some of them in order to be stable. Sooner or later, I would save the albums into my Facebook account, if I have time.

Yeah, I only get 2 or 3 notifications from Friendster every month- just about friends joining apps and such. Oh,and thanks for reminding me- I have to get all my photos there too.

what is the use of using this site if all your friends moved to facebook? therefore, i do not use this site anymore. there are rumors that friendster will be closed soon. i do not know if it is true.

Yeah, all of my friends are using facebook now too. They are going to close the site for a while- make some changer here and there..but they are going to open it again- someday. I hope it's better to compete with fb.
