Friends By Accident

This happened a few years ago. I just had break up with my boyfriend at that moment. That night I was supposed to hang out with my sister and my best friend but I got sick, I was feeling horrible and I decided to stay at home. So they left without me. It was late at night when my cell phone started to ring. When I picked up there was a guy on the other side of the phone asking for somebody I don't know. It was wrong number. But what a coincidence, his name was my same name just mine is in English and his is in Spanish. He thought I was the person he was calling just making a joke. Any way, that was how started a very special friendship. We lived almost three hours apart. So after that we were talking all the time by phone about everything. He helped me so much in that process of keep going and leave that old relationship behind. Finally I went to his town to meet him. I saw him once in my life. After that we keep talking until we finally lost communication. This has been one of the weirdest things I ever experienced. Sometimes I wonder what about his life now? This is one of those things in life I will never forget.

That's a very sweet story and it's sad the two of you lost touch. I hope you are able to some day reunite with him. There is nothing sadder then loosing a friend sometimes. I have old friends I too haven't saw in years but never met none of them in such a manner but it doesn't stop me from wondering about them.

Have you tried to call him and check about his condition?
What if he is sick or something happened to him,and you just didn't know.
Some things looks so strange but we never knew if there is a good reason behind it.
In your case,it helps you with your situation right...it's like you need someone to listen and there he comes.
Maybe it's time for you to give back the favor...why not try to call him.

It's a pity that you had a falling out with him. Why don't you call him and see what he's up to now? I have also had friends in the past who I have had a falling out with and I regret that I wasn't able to maintain our friendship. Thankfully, with social networking sites, I was able to find some of them.
