When a new person come to this site they get a number. Like why ? I mean I don't about no one elses number so what is the whole point of that ? I am a 13 wooohooo yeah that is a low number. I just don't get what the whole point is on showing the number.

The number beside your name is the number of postings that you have made so far. You will see the numbe rbeside mine is currently around 1000. That means that I have made that number of comments on other people's discussions. Try adding to other people's discussions, and you will see that number goes up.

The star with a number in it beside your name shows how you are being rated by your fellow myLotters. 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest. I've got 5, so I think it's just a passed rating. And that is not so good.
