Two weeks from now, classes are to start again. Everyone seems to be excited but some aren't. They are worried for the future that might bring them stress and headaches. But they didn't think of the brighter side-- that LEARNING is FUN! Everyone should put it in their minds that education is the best possession one can have and you can only attain that through going to school. One must not face the starting of classes with a frown but a big smile- for school life is fun. The memories it brings, the friends we get to know and of course, the lessons we learn. What do you think about the starting of school days?

Finally, after a very long summer vacation, School days are coming again. For me, i am very excited as a college student cause for the past two years I've wasted money and time cause instead of going to school, i go to beerhouse, computershop, gambling ares and others. I hope this coming school year, i will study hard and give it my best shot.

I've lived in Asia before, and I've seen that schooldays there start in June. I guess that has something to do with the weather. School is just ending for my kids next month. But I will be excited when the start comes in on September, as my 5-year old will be starting kindergarten.

When I was in grade school, I am always excited whenever school is about to start again. Because my mom would take me to mall and buy me fancy notebooks, pencils and pens and other stuff that I need. During high school, I am always looking forward to school because I get to see my classmates which became my good friends. We all gather lunchtime to tell our stories about what happened during our summer vacation. When I got to college, I am half excited about because of the schedules of my chosen classes. It was so hard trying to put them on the right list fearing some of my subjects will have a conflict but in the end, it will turn out alright and I am set to meet new friends again in my classes. Education is the best gift one could ever have.

I am a bit excited, but also scared..since lessons are going to be harder this year- and I haven't even enrolled yet. And we have a new system of enrollment, which I have no idea how to do. But I am excited to see my friends again and new teachers.

I think while in school the biggest problem used to be for us was homework and study. But when we cross those days we come to know that how much beautiful those days were in reality. I miss a lot my school days and my friends there. We were not much concerned about earning money and all and used to think about study and play.

Hi Learning should be fun,if a child enjoys learning, they will want to learn more,if you just sit children down and just talk at them, they will lose interest and then learning becomes boring for them, and then they frown about going to school, when really we want them to smile.. You are right education(next to good health) is the best possession one can have, there is a saying that goes,'Education is power' I loved starting school,we had a fab teacher called ms Evans, she made learning fun..Every school should have a Ms Evans.. Have a great day. jojo732

I am excited to go back to school! I just want to see my friends again after this 2 long months of pure torture living with my dysfunctional family. Anyway, I have to agree to what you said too. Learning is fun! It's so fun! I will be happy again seeing my friends. It's really nice because I was just a first year college student last year and all of the sudden, I am already becoming a second year student this coming June 6! (Well, ours starts in June 6) I would be enrolling exactly next week and I'll be back there in the city. I am really very excited about it! I'm really curios of what will it be for me and my course (computer science).

as a student i suppose it would feel very daunting, especially if you haven't done your homework or really just can't be bothered with school. or it might be fun IF you haven't had any contact with your friends.

Although the start of school can be a time of anxiety for most parents, it can also be an exciting one, especially for new parents whose kids will be entering formal school for the first time. In my case, I only have one daughter who'll be going back to school (the other one has already graduated from college) and so it's not really a tough time for me anymore. It's still kinda exciting, coz my daughter's into her last year in elementary (6th grade) so I would like her to make the most of her time this school year. I'm a stay-at-home mom and quite hands on on my daughter's education. I'm also a part time teacher, so I know the value of education and I want my daughters to value the time they spend learning new things, creating friendships and making lasting memories.

I agree with you- students have mixed feelings about this... Some are happy to see their friends again, but also scared to face those pile of projects and assignments. But because of these stuff, school is fun and exciting.

I agree with you that learning is fun.. However, I can feel the sentiments of the students because I was also a student before. Few years back, I remember that I hate it when teachers give a lot of assignments and requirements which have to be passed so early. But then, the presence of my friends and classmates in school kept me going and I was able to graduate with a degree. :)

well, my classes will start at august, hehe since i still have no money. im not taking any 4 year course though. i'll just take a 9month course of medical transcription. it's very cool cause the school i'll be enrolling will just take 4 hours of the normal everyday school time and if i'll pass some of their examinations in the middle of the school year i can work there as a transcriptionist already even if i havent graduate yet as long as i can do the job.. :) im a little nervous though, i always am. especially when it's something new. hehe

Well, I'm already a graduate but I will miss my school days. I am seeing my nephews enrolling and I am quite jealous because of the fun that they will have. Oh well, that's the past and I should concentrate on my present now.
