I have looked through most of the post here on sports. I have not really found anything that refers to combat training. So what I am going to do is I am going to start a series of discussions on combat training. Now I have trained in combative systems for 17 years now. Now when it comes to my combative training I only train for self defense. I do not train for the ring or the mat. I do not train to compete in tournaments in which there are rules. As well my beliefs on combat training are not like most people that you will know. Now one thing that I am going to state is that even though it is good to get any kind of training that you can get and from where you can get it there is no substitution for a real live instructor. As well I will give instructions on a lot of tactics that you can use in the street. As well I will give a lot of combat knowledge that does not have anything to with physical tactics but instead other ways of surviving the street. Now even though I am mainly putting these physical tactics in my discussions they are only there for informational purposes. But if you do decide to train with any of the knowledge that I present in these discussions you do so at your own risk and I will not be liable for any injury that may occur from improper training. As well if you decide that you are going to train with any of the knowledge that I present with in these discussions please train as safely as possible. As well even though I have found my own personal self defense method I do not teach it to others. One more thing even though my personal system does not incorporated all of the tactics that I will present in my future discussions i will be giving a plethora of tactics that you can use from all areas of combat.

Combat training is good for every person, but do not use it for beat innocent people. It is good to train in combat, because you can defend people who try to beat you , to take your money or maybe terrorists.Martial arts are very good for novice people.I know people who do martial arts and now they are good fighters.Good job in your work to become a best fighter.

Hey Nerein! This sounds great! I'd definitely be interested in seeing more discussions about this topic. I myself have been boxing for around two years now, mainly just training and for fitness. I can definitely say that combat training provides the best type of intense fitness and is great for losing weight. I've noticed a change in my body over the past two years, I wasn't overweight or anything in the first place but I'm definitely more defined than I was. I like known that I have some kind of defence when I'm around and about on the street etc. It makes me feel safe, especially when combat training is hidden and no one will know you have it. But I do agree with you in that it shouldn't be used as a weapon. Most fighting clubs will ban you permanently if you participate in a unscheduled or unorganized fight.
