haha =D I'm sorry that u asked the wrong person here.. hehe ^_^ I dun normally watch such movies because they are more or less the same, about wars and how the stronger countries win. Same boring storyline, but the visual effects are good though.. haha =D I like "saving private ryan", because of the explosion and bloody scenes where i get to see someone's hands being blown off.. haha =D

hahaha Well, yes. But, i still love to watch though you can predict the story in the end. I downloaded we were soldiers staring Mel Gibson thought it is not from the year range i asked but it's a great movie though. It's like I'm part of that scene. Visual effects is great, pretty sure you're going to like it. It's bloody.

There are not much nice movies from year 2000 to present. IN the generation of 3D and cartoons, where would there be any nice combat movies? Those really nice ones belong to the early or late 90s, where war is real. I personally like Black hawk down, Thin red line and Behing enemy lines. Band of brothers is my all time favourite, especially the series, not the movie. Do check them out.

I thought I've just missed some good movies because that was the time i was busy with my studies. I realized when i read some reviews i found out that most of the combat movies was released in 90's and it's award winning. I should included movies from the 90's. So, any suggestion?

The Alamo - One of the greatest war films I have seen The Pianist - Quite long but worth spending time for The Hurt Locker - great films, won awards

I've heard about pianist but i don't like draggy films. I want some action, love story and etc.,just like pearl harbor. I remember my mom cry when she and her cousin watched that movie on big screen. I'll check the two films you mentioned. Thank you.

I would recommend Saving Private Ryan (even though its filmed in 1998), The Hurt Locker, Saints and Soldiers, Defiance, and The Pacific (HBO mini-series).

Saving private Ryan is one of the combat movies i watched several times. The rest you mentioned i'm not familiar with but it sounds interesting. Later i will look for it and read some reviews. Anyway, i don't like combat movies with no story. It makes me bore. Thanks for your time.

I Liked Platoon, Missing in Action, The Thin Red Line, Hamburger Hill, Patton, Heartbreak Ridge, Pearl Harbor (Both Versions), Apocalypse Now Three Kings, Black Hawk Down. Not to many War Movies made from 2000 to the Present

I already watched The thin red line, Pearl harbor(which my mom cried.),and Black hawk down (my little brother all time favorite). I got sick watching it over and over again. Even if i introduce a new combat movie we always end up watching Black Hawk Down! And what i hate most is he always skip some scenes. Anyway, Thank you so much.
