Heavy rain again....

It was so very hot that morning. I'm all sweaty as I walk going to office. The heat gave me headache. About 6pm, the rain began to fall. It was a very hard and the streets were all flooded. No public vehicle available. There was a heavy traffic and I was forced to walked. I'm all wet and even if I'm willing to walk just to go home, I had no choice but to wait for the traffic to move. I was standing there for 3 hours waiting for the rain to stop. My mistake was that, I forgot to pray and ask for God's help. All I was thinking was for myself to go home and have rest. Then the Holy Spirit talked to me and I prayed. After 15 minutes, the vehicles moved and there was a jeepney approaching. God reminded me that even in the most common situation, we can do nothing without His help. Praise God!

Next time you face a problem, think of Him instantly. He wants us to bring Him in our life and this happens only when there are mishaps. Sad but true.

I am very sorry for what had happened and I know God already forgave me. And its true, people only tends to remember God only when we're in distress.

True indeed and there's really some grace when you try to ask for His guidance - in every situation.
Anyhow, I'm wondering why you didn't have an umbrella with you when it's SOP for everyone to do so whenever we go out. We just don't know when it'll be sunny and when it'll rain.
It's good that you are home safe now.

I had umbrella that time but the rain was really so heavy that the umbrella was not enough to protect me being all wet. But Im so blessed that God never fail to protect me even if I got home very late at night.

Although it's been more windy and cold over here it has still been raining, sometimes it's just a relief to get some rain after so much hot weather and also the rain at that time is more interesting then because we get storms and lightning and thunder which is a bit scary at times but definitely better than dulls the rain it makes radio days more interesting when we get some drama going!
