Marcos wealth: For Real?

President Marcos has created a great impact and trauma for every Filipino and marked a great memory in the Philippine history. His influence is really vast that it gained horror to our society.
Now, his memory is still alive in our issues especially the wealth he has corrupted from every Pinoy. It is said that he has hidden a great treasures which would count for "Trillions" and believed to be named for "The Republic of the Philippines" - the Marcos Wealth.
but until now, after two decades, the belief was still a myth because no hard proof is being proven. The truth relies to those who are in higher position.
But if that's the case, that would be a nice news since it shall be a great help to all Pinoys toward riches. NO MORE HUNGER!
who knows the truth?

I have no idea.. I really despise the Marcos since their family is still living extravagantly and the people have forgotten what they did. 
Can't we just force them to give up all heir riches to the poor or use it to pay debts? 
The citizens own their money anyway...

how i wish that would happen and is possible to happen. i'm also wondering why they're still living in luxury and in fact some of them are still standing in politics. they would have been performing restitutions since they were the cause of great sufferings for many Filipinos. but who knows? maybe God has a great plan for the Philippines why these things is happening.:)

Well, Garcia amassed half a billion and there are other officials who did the same. I think it's somehow believable that Marcos may have hidden a huge amount of money somewhere. Also, in case it is indeed found, do you think the Filipino people would benefit from it? Almost all of our leaders and officials are hungry for money and power so I believe they would get their grubby hands on it first before the public would even know about it.

that's why, many Christians are now praying for a change because once that money is put into wrong hands, most probably it will just be like a vapor in the wind.
all we can do now is to pray for our President not to be greed but be righteous in doing his vow he has promised to our country.

hello Mark,
You said it right,2 decades and how many president/s in our country come and go,have they done anything to prove this accusations,or they just pointing fingers to the Marcoses?
First,Marcoses are very much living here in our country,they never fled or hide.
So,why those president/s never give a damn to have all those wealth back to our governments treasury? - or is it because every allegations are not true and just accusations.
There is no better life than the Marcos regime,that's all i can say.

i don't know what's the truth behind Marcos. all i know is that his era was dark ages that every Filipino was full of fear and wrath in their hearts. no freedom at all. on the other hand, Marcos was seem to be generous in other places especially in demoted areas but still his dictatorship became a threat for the Philippines.
one more thing is that, the wealth of our country which is said to be kept by a certain bank in other country is now being an issue for the politicians since its amount is very huge and is unimaginable to believe. the Marcos wealth that is said to be named "for the Republic of the Philippines".

Hello there,
You're young, that's probably why you're doubting it now. If he didn't stole anything, United States won't be giving 200 million dollars support fund to the Cory Administration then considering that they're money is almost out because of the things Marcose's and his cronies had stolen all of the years during dictator ship. GOCC screws it up by loosing a lot of confidential files that kept us blind in this lost wealth investigation since the oust of marcos.
BUt Lost wealth is nothing worse that what made our people today; divided to the core..i think the count is billions, but i think we just have to move forward and start doing best to earn again for the country and not dig on lost money that can't or hard to find...

yeah you're right. we really have to move on to make a progress in our country. actually, based on my reliable source, this huge wealth for the Philippines is not missing but rather it is being kept by a certain bank somewhere else in other country. the interest if the money was tripled that it became an unimaginable cost that's really hard to believe. the President should have a clear conscience and is really trustworthy to distribute even a single cent for every Filipino.

Its very difficult to dig it up because their are lots of "shadow devils" whom already swiped, hid, or burn those documents so that their will be no revealing evidence! as you can see those "shadow devils" are very smart and clever also they even know how to play on. This "shadow devils" that I refer are those people who have the qualities of shadow and devil. Think about the justice system of our country, think about of those budget that have been disappear, think about those Trillion of treasures which has been found way back before in Bukidnon that was suppose to be a great help but where is it? It was disappear like a bubbles, and think about those oldies people who still sits in the higher position does they have contribute more in solving the problems?
Hmmm...I've notice this "created a great impact and trauma for every Filipino" and "the wealth he has corrupted from every Pinoy" yes absolutely your correct but let me share you about this one. I think this article or book has been already burnt out and disappear because their are lots of people who actually hate him without knowing first of who really he is. The book and article I refer is entitled "Christmas without Christ" this book and article entails the true story of Ferdinand Marcos. I am not pro-Marcos rather I am not such like those people just immediately make a judgment without knowing what's behind the truth. I was assigned to read those entire book and make a summary report way back elementary grade 3 that was probably way back 1994 as far as I can remember. The book was really old and it was published before Marcos became a president.
Considering the condition and situation of our country today I'm sure their will be another Marcos who will rise up because Marcos is just the product of --- I'll leave you a hanging statement so that you will make a research hope I can trigger your interest and give you an insight.

it would really be great if there really s that treasure, and they find it and finally give it back to the Filipinos. maybe use it for everything like for calamities, hunger, oil price, and increasing prices in the market etc etc etc. but knowing most of our government officials... hoping the money wont go straight to their pockets AGAIN
