Hello every one !
I have a friend named Arun. We've been pals since our first grade. And though we opted for different streams, he is still in contact with me via his inspirational messages which he sends daily, without fail. Of course I am not the only one receiving those; all our other common friends get them too. I guess he sends them only to those few special ones.
The reason I am posting this is; after reading his messages I always have a feeling that although we dont get to meet too often, but still our friendship is fresh as that at the time of our 1st grade.
Today while I was sitting alone, bored and had nothing interesting to do, then suddenly my inbox popped up with his message, and it really made me laugh out loud.
I then realized, that many people go for motivational sessions, or join groups to help themselves pull out of depression. They are so desperate to be loved and cared. And in such a situation if someone or even some stranger shows them some affection in some way or the other, its helps a great deal to boost up their moral; and returns them the power and purpose to fight and bounce back in life.
I am posting what he has just messaged, which is a quote from some famous personality, although I dont remember the name...
" Dont take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway".

Hi there,
When I read " Dont take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway". I can't help but think the quote is so right! See I have a lot of issues and yes they do get me down very often, but then I hear of someone being diagnosed with cancer for a second time, a family member who is infected with HIV, her new hubby and baby also, etc., etc... It makes me really re-think, you know what I am not invincible and life will end one day.
Therefore, my issues definitely do not seem so big after all. Why fret things I cannot control. Life is way too short, regardless of what some think and why waste so much valuable time fretting on things we cannot change and or control.
What I usually repeat in my brain is that life is a beach and then we die. In the interim I will live.

Its good to see you are a brave-heart, and dont get carried away by things easily.
Neither you are bound to materialistic values. You are quite a lot mature when it comes to these aspects of life, considering what you have told me about you in the earlier discussions.
Take my advice, dont change ever, "Cuz you are amazing, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.."
Ahem ahem.. I believe, you know which song I am referring to.

That quote says it all indeed! 
You are both lucky to have each other. If you were not his friend then he could not send you the messages could he? You both are doing something worthwhile each day, him by sending them and inspiring others and you by allowing him to send them. Many others would have told him to stop by now or would just have them go straight to their spam box

Hi D !
Yeah, he's a happy go lucky kind of person. He actually never bothers about what others say of him. He's like, "he listens to everybody, but does only what his heart wants him to".
But he is very kind hearted, and never tries to pretend; whatever he feels, he says it upfront without bothering what people might think of him. I think thats what makes him special.

Those kind of people go fsr in life and when they grow old, their wrinkles grow upwards because they have led a happy contented life

Ya, its really a great quote with very deep meaning to it, yet very simple sentence. These inspirational quotes do make our lives brighter when we are really having a low time in our life.They really brighten up our minds.

Maybe you can introduce your friend to myLot , all of us would surely like to get to know him better. I myself would love to have a great buddy like that. I can see why he likes to befriend you , you are such a positive bubble here in the lot....now I know where you get it from when I say anyone is lucky to have you as a friend..

Inspiration messages do help sometimes, especially when they are something that you can relate to. I have found there are times, though, when someone tries to "inspire" me at the wrong time or chooses the wrong message, and it does completely the opposite of what it was meant to do. On the other hand, maybe they were trying to use "reverse psychology" and it worked exactly as it was planned.
Great, now I have to totally rethink the whole way that I respond to inspirational messages.

Yeah.. I do agree, as it happens most of the time with me. But if it happens to be by chance; well as it is mostly, then I simply laugh at it and move forward. There is no point thinking over it again. Of-course, you cant be angry with them for long.. ;)

I really like what you have shared about. I can relate it to myself and because of it, I now understand the point. Like you, I have some special friends and I wanted to keep them that much. Usually U missed them, and dreaming that they would send me a message for a surprise^^ So, whenever I got a message from them, I'm really happy and feel comforted. I suddenly smile and makes me active.
