Talking about earnings what site works better for you to write your articles?

I know there are lots of sites where we can write our articles and earn some money. I am a rookie on this. I am using hubpages right now, but I had read some bad reviews here about hub pages. Actually I wasn't earning anything until the started their own ads program a couple weeks ago. But will really appreciate if some of you tell me about what site do you prefer to write your articles, if we talk about earnings.

Is it true that you can write well? If that's the case and if you are in doubt of those writing sites whether if they will pay you or not, or what they are going to do with your articles once they got hold of them, then it will be better if you can just create your own website and put your articles and posts there. Just like what we do. Then if you affiliate yourself with some high paying affiliate programs, then there's a chance you can earn unlimited income, bigger income than what those writing sites can pay. Your website will be like your own business. How is it with you? By becoming your own boss owning a profit website?

I agree with you, magtibaygom. At least what you earn is your own and not shared with other writing sites.
