what line of photography are you in to? How and why?

There's so many branch in photography that we could focus into. What catches you most? examples. Wedding,Landscapes,Portraiture,Macro,etc How did you end up in that line of photography? Who's your inspirations? Share your thoughts and experiences...

I'm not a professional, but photography is one of my hobbies. I like outdoor photography, mostly landscapes and flower macros. I'd like to get into shooting birds and other wildlife, once I get a good DSLR.
