CSK won IPL back to back years

Chennai Super Kings lifted the IPL trophy for the second time in a row. Last year they defeated MI, this year they defeated RCB. What do you say about this ? Dhoni's wide fortune ? Gayle failed in the penultimate match to register a single run and couldn't save the match. He played brilliantly throughout the tournament but failed thrice. RCB were defeated all those matches. Whatever, Murali Vijay and M. Hussey set the rhythm and carried the opening partnership to 159 runs others extended it. It was the turning point of the match and RCB couldn't suffer the blow. Murali really played well today, he was quite unfortunate to miss his second IPL ton.

They have a chance to win it in the next edition too if the same team plays . What a brilliant performance by CSK. It seems like they saved their best for the last. The good thing about their win is that everyone in their team contributed throughout this season of IPL. Great opening stand between Murali Vijay and Mike Hussey and then they only needed to build from it. Very happy that CSK won as they deserve it.

Is there any changes going to be happened in the next year ? I think, almost all the players are bought for at least two years. The unsold players may get another chance to get some club like Lara, Ganguly and of course Gayle. He would make a record in the auction for sure. All the team will go to get him after his performance in this IPL. Even his former team KKR can go all out for him. It will be interesting to see that. Gambhir holds the current record of $2.4m in the auction after him is Yusuf Pathan who got $2.1m. In the first edition Dhoni was the best getting a bid of $1.5m and then Flintoff and Petersen in the second auction each $1.55m by CSK and RCB respectively. The success behind CSK is retaining the players and re purchasing almost everyone from the auction whom they had in the first three edition.

CSK are deserving CHAMPS..they started of well and also carried the monentum all the way in the game....Under Dhonis leadership very little can go wrong.. Gayle did fail and the team just got knocked over from then on...RCB looked like Team India which used to depend on Sachin a few years ago....Sachin failed and the team failed and so it happened yest....Kohli played well but could not even make a match out of it....fantastic match and cheers again to CSK....They have proven that ligntenig can strike twice at the same place.......

Yeah, had Gayle played another brilliant innings it could have been different. But they need somebody else too for supporting him like M. Hussey did to Vijay. Dhoni is a very fortunate captain like R. Ponting and S. Waugh in their golden times. You mentioned another point that comparison of Sachin and Gayle is true. Now Tendulkar has lots of supports that is why team India is playing well. CSK did play a nice tournament and picked at the right team. They were never in pressure and everything went smoothly for them.

It was very good performance by Csk yesterday. First the opner stunned RCB bowlers and then Bowlers came in take wkts at every tiem. I thnik the whole credit go to the two opner who made all possible to csk. Aswin taking the Gayle wkt another time a good captaincy by dhoni. That make him winner. Now Csk is super team in IPl they reached Final 3 time and won two time in a row. The powerfull team is CSk. Rcb was full grwon on the shoulder of gayle dats why they looses when gsyle go for duck.

Yup, it was an all round performance by CSK rather than one man show. It sealed the game as cricket has been always a team game. Dhoni again was a lucky captain to get everything and seldom losing in the final. Dhoni's men again get him the trophy for the straight second year. Congratulation to them. They smoothly sailed in the tournament and did pick up at the right time. They were never under pressure and they won almost all the matches by team show.
