pregnancy and epilepsy

hi mylotters, my wife is 9 weeks pregnant and has epilepsy for about 3 years now. she has not had a seizure for about 15 months now thank god. we have a son who"s soon 4 years old. my wife was pregnant last year but it ended 5 months into the pregnancy and that was heart breaking for the two of us, it was worse for her though as the mother. she is on medication for the epilepsy, but she is getting jerks in her leg and arm for the last few weeks. she has been to the docter about this by the way, do u think its the medication and pregnancy that starts this jerking of the leg and arm. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL. thank you myloters!
