Publishing At Triond

Not seeing anything worth doing in Microworkers, I stumbled upon Triond. It's a money making site where you can post your articles and get paid for every visit of a new IP to your page. It captured my interest, since I used to be a ghost writer and been wanting to have my articles recognized as written by me. I haven't had the guts before to really apply for a writing job where I can place my real name, and even real picture. So now, that I've grown up emotionally and mentally, I have finally decided to try Triond. Before signing up, though, I searched the net and found out, not surprisingly, that there are writers in Triond that are not happy with it. Some have submitted a number of articles already and yet they don't get what they think they should earn. For them it's a waste of time. But then again, there are also many writers who have been earning at least 50$ a month for their efforts. And their earnings go up the next month, and the next month, and so on. According to what I have researched, it's not a write now earn big right now. You have to write and write, connect to friends, build an audience, and just keep writing. For me, maybe it will take me half a year to earn 20$ a month. But I'm still going to go for it. There is really nothing to lose, is there? Who knows, maybe I'll get tips on how to build a good portfolio and a successful writing career in Triond. So MyLotters, your suggestions are very much welcome :D.

You're doing the writers' classic: devaluing yourself! I write for a living, and the only people getting rich are the Triond mods. I ran a mile when I saw what I'd have to do to earn a single dollar. As you seem to be a good writer, I'd suggest giving Triond a miss and joining Constant Content or something similar. Sure you have to bid for work, but you can have requests for content sent direct to your mail box, and you'll sure as hell be better off at the end of it.

Hi LilacFaye. I also signed up in Triond and have published a few articles already. I have made a few cents but not much to be qualified for a cash out. What I noticed is that there are a lot of views of the How To articles I made. Hopefully, I would have the time to focus on it so I can add more articles and build an audience. Good luck with your Triond adventures .
