Regrets??? I have tons of them I have not done most of the things that I wanted to do and dreams I wanted to succeed in. It’s because I was either lazy or decided impulsively. So my advice to others; make sure that you use your one life to try to achieve everything that you want in life so from me to you make sure that you do everything now or you'll never get the chance to do it in the future. Life is too short as what my Mom always tells me. You’ll never know when the time comes that you’ve to meet our creator. What about you guys? Do you have any regrets in life?

Yes, there are regrets in my life. I'm glad i have them because without it, there won't be a stronger me right now. We learn from regrets and since life is short, we should give our all in whatever we do, be it right or wrong. IF we didn't try it, how are we supposed to know it doesn't work out right? AT the end of it, regardless of success or failure, at least we try. Whether that's a form of regret, it's up to each individual.

Hi,freymind. I have tons of regrets too.I am a lazy girl, sometimes I have many good ideas ,such as I should study English when I am not busy,or I should not waste time on meaningless things, but ,thousands of times,I told myself that “ wait a moment, let me finish the movie ,or today is not ok,I feel uncomfortable, leave it tomorrow. Oh,God knows how I hate myself being like this.I hope I can be a person who can control myself, every area in my life.I hope that when I want to do the right thing,my lazy bones will work right now, they won't keep saying ”no .I don't want to work.“ Then, all these should be done by myself. You mother's words move me alot, yes,we'll never know when the time comes that we have to meet our creater. The life is full of chananges,so we must do what we really want to do roght now,and do not waste our time any more. Thank you for starting such a goo discussion,it makes me thingking a lot, thanks again, wish you happy and successful.

I sometimes think that as the years go by I will have some serious regrets about the way I have lived my life but to tell you the truth I don't think this is a very good idea as it will leave me feeling all depressed and sad. I have dreams myself and I have lovely images in my mind of what I would like to achieve and experience but somehow I cannot see myself achieving them anytime soon. I think that I am in a state in life whereby I can safely say that I am content and if I am content then there is some happiness inside of me I think! I don't think I will waste time having regrets but will focus on things that I enjoy doing. Andrew

I have regrets, too--I am sure most people do. After being fired, I can surely say that one of my biggest regrets was ever putting work before my family, my friends, or anything else more important than work. But you are NEVER too old, and it is NEVER too late, to turn your life around, or try something new, and so I say to you, freymind, that you should just get out there and do some of those things you regret not having done before. And always, always, listen to your Mom--she sounds like she knows what she's talking about!

I think everyone has regrets whether you admit to it or not. I like to look at regrets as lifes lesson because there is nothing you can do to change the past and the bad decisions you made but you can do is learn from your mistakes and better yourself. There is hope as long as you are alive, and should always work towards reaching your dreams no matter what never give up.

regret is one of things i hate the most. because it shows how coward i am to not try something that i wanted to try. my strategy to decrease the number of regrets in my life: think about something that i think/feel i really want to do. once i decide to do it, i will do it whatever it takes to succeed. even if it does not succeed, i am sure i will be satisfied since i have a courage to try. but if i decide NOT to do it, then i will just forget it immediately. i will tell my self that there will be other better thing to do and not taking that particular chance will not hurt me. this way i will not regret something that i decide not to do. how fun it is to live life with gratefulness, and with minimal regrets:)

I sure do, so many of my memories are regretful ones, and looking back, I wonder what I was thinking when I made some of my decisions, and yes, like you, I was lazy and impulsive in a lot of my decisions. I guess it comes from being human: we all make poor decisions due to human weakness. Sometimes, the regret I feel is so intense it's almost unbearable it tears at my soul; and great salty tears can cascade down my face, and sleep can come as merciful release, the pain is so intense. But at other times, I have to realise that I've still time to do things to make the regret less keen. So I just get on and meet every day as a challenge and get on with my work. And God is with me and is my comfort.

My regret is not moving to Australia when I had that chance. I regret not having my second child until 12 years after my first child was born. In life things can work out differently so how I plan them . I regret not yet visiting Egypt. I had planned to go there but when trouble happened there I went to Malta instead. I did however see the pyramids when I flew over them on a plane from Kenya to England. I make the best of all that I have and I am happy in my life.

I just hate this regret part, it should not exist, regrets are for weak people, that don't have the courage to do something. I'd wish to say i don't have regrets but i'd lie. The biggest thing that i regret is that i couldn't and still can't decide what i want to do with my life, i have many skills, but none of them are worked on. But life goes on, i'll try to decide until i die:) Our creator created us paths and i can't find mine, at least i'm not decided yet on which path i wanna go.

Regrets? I dont regret anything I have done in my life. because I believe that everything I did in the past is all part of my personality. and those experiences good or bad i take it positively. being a young then, there are things that we decide impulsively but during those times we can learn from that even if it takes a lot of courage and effort to learn from your mistake

I have a LOT of regret in life. And if I get to live my life again, I'd definitely be doing a lot of things I didn't do in the past. As said by a lotter friend in one of my discussions: I don't regret the things I've done, but those I did not do. - From Empire Records

I too have a lot of them. When I was younger it was just so easy to quit and eventually it became a habit of mine that even when I was doing great, I always felt like I could just leave whenever I wanted to. Also, I had a lot of fear and I realized that NOW is always the perfect time to conquer fears, it doesn't matter if I fail, what's harder is going through life thinking of what could have been.
