I hate this new mozilla firefox! I want the old one back!

Hi there, Initially when I downloaded the new version, I too did not like it, so in a matter of minutes I did remove it and re-downloaded the 3.16. The only way to do it is if you have another browser like IE that you can surf the web. So what I did was, and make you do too, is that when you go to add remove and delete it that you do leave the box checked that says something like keep old profile upon removal. By not checking off the box you will remove all plug ins, toolbars and setting you originally had. The other way would be to download another browser first and or onto an external hard drive. Because removing Firefox alone and not having another browser you cannot use the web to retrieve any browser for that matter. I have since re-formatted my laptop and put the latest 4.01.1 and find it very user friendly for me. But of course it is a preference.

I don't know about new version because I am still with the old one. But your discussion made me rethinks about upgrading to new version. Well if you are disliking it just because of refresh button then i guess I am okay with the short cut key... Tell me everything else is okay or there are some other glitch or odd modifications too in a new version ??!! About getting older one back.. I guess you should remove it and search for the old version to some other downloading site instead of going for firefox's own official site. Hope this will be work.

I agree with you that the new version does not suit my current needs.The old one is just find and if I have to upgrade i guess i will.I am to used to the older version and the new one has a style that i do not find that appealing.I like Firefox more than i do internet explorer do to amount of features it has over internet explorer and feel it will always be my browser of choice.

I Dislike the New Firefox as It Crashes like Crazy on my Computer. I don't know if Anybody has the same Crash Problem with the Firefox 4.0. Do a Search for the Older Version by using the Name and Version of the Older Browser.
