Me, My Worst Enemy

We all know how the saying goes; "Your worst enemy is yourself." I've read a lot of discussions about self-struggle here on myLot so I know some of you are aware of this. The greatest battles are fought not outside but inside; we have to win against our demons first in order for us to win out there. Now I've been struggling the battle taking place within me, especially when it comes to getting up and going to work. I mean, it really feels like my body adds up 50 lbs everytime I wake up in the afternoon (I'm in graveyard shift). I've been like this before but it really feels like this time it's heavier. I'm sure you know the feeling, that is if you have a professional dayjob outside the house because I'm fully aware that a lot of you work at home. Share something here, I'm sure you have something to say regarding this.

This is a good discussion actually why because it is true that our greatest enemy ever is ourself. In spiritual aspect the same ourself is the hard enemy, outside you can encounter people may be angry with you but there is a way to escape. Another is evil things or spirit which you can fight back them. How about ourself are you ready to fight back against your own will.. it true my friend... see you around

That's a good point. Why get yourself into a fight when you can find it in you to just look the other way?

So true. I am even fighting some demons within me..struggling to win. But i have persons that support me and get me through all these trials
Just look for a motivation front, like when you feel like not getting up..when you feel like not getting out of the bed think of that motivation.

That's a nice way to put it. Yeah, of course I have someone to care about, all of us have that, actually. Thanks, I really like this advice.

Yes sometimes the enemy of ourselves can we.
Whether by his thoughtless actions or that of being always on top and wrong.Interesting discussion. The inner struggle is something many people keep to themselves.
Seemed to be torn in two and here and there.Sometimes this struggle is and painful.I personally have never had so much great internal struggle.
I hope to make a decision quickly and not torture.Have a nice day!

The things the our mind tell us are not all good. Sometimes our own demons occur because of how we think. Although it's pretty difficult to battle these thoughts with our own will because our will also comes from the mind.

It might be that when I know my enemy, I know what I am fighting for and how to fight my demons. And it is inside one's heart where all the battles are won. I might be my worst enemy when I say that I disagree with something, if I criticize something. Then it happens that quarreling starts, and I have to support my opinion or stop some useless talk, and my mood might be spoiled. So my expressions might be my enemies.

When you realize what your demons' purpose are, you'll immediately find a way to eliminate them.
