Pharaohs are one of the most powerful symbols of politics and kingship in all of history it is comparable to emperors and even to God's. But one thing boggles me is for a reign of this great kings what caused their demise, what brought about the ultimate power in the middle east that ruled the land for thousands of years 2000 years ago came to vanish and be destroyed? What brought about the downfall of the great kings and what has happened to the lineages of these great rulers? I guess only the dead and the pyramids have the clue, and us to learn...

It should be the change of ruling dynasty, from kings to presidents, monache to demoncracy. In the past, there are kings and queens, emperors in every countries. It's time that changes everything and that's how we have the current system now. It's the same for china, whereby it's known for many dynasty, but it's changed too.

I guess there is a time for everything. They might ruled for hundreds of years but nothing is permanent in this world. As for the pyramid, that ancient structure is quite mysterious to me as well. That's one of the reasons I want to be an archeologist when I was young.
