He is Bruno Mars, or Peter Gene Hernandez ( his real name). A guy raised in Honolulu, Hawaii but of Filipino ancestry.
I was surprised that my five year old daughter knows him and can sing some parts of his songs.
I love the "just the way you are" is her favorite as well as mine.

Bruno Mars is okay. He is getting a little old because I heard his music every five minutes. But other then that he is really good.

I love Bruno Mars as well. The lazy song is awesome. Thats how I feel most of the time. lol.

I'm not familiar with him. I will see tomorrow when I talk to my daughters if they know of him. I listen to alot of different kinds of songs, so perhaps when I have a moment tomorrow, I will also look him up on youtube!
I think it's great that you and your daughter can share some interests in music. It is a great time to bond with her and I know that years from now when she is an adult, you will both be glad of this!

I am happy that my daughter has some interest in music.
Through her, I get know to know the new breed of singers and get interested in their music.
If not because of her, I am sure I am still singing the 80's songs.LOl

His a great singer and I love his songs. I heard him singing California Girls in acoustic version and I fell in love with his voice. I like his Lazy song and makes me want to hear it all over and over again.

I also love Bruno Mars and just now I just realized that, that's his real name. The song "just the way you are", "today my life begins" and etc. were my favorites. It's because he's a talented guy and a great singer for me.. It's like his song's really talks and its a nice background music to some important events. I really feel great whenever I listen.. =)

I also love listening to his song, especially the "Billionaire" song. Because "I wanna be a billionaire so Freaking' bad." and the "Lazy Song". He just sounds different from the other artist that's why I've been hooked to his songs.

The very first time i saw hos video while having some coffee break in our office pantry i told my team mates that he looks like a Filipino.
Then one of my team mates exclaimed "indeed he is"
wow really! i was surprised to know that he is a Filipino.
i like his songs..hope he won't shift to other genre.

I'm not that much into Bruno Mars...it's perhaps a generational thing. Anyway, I attended a wedding recently and saw the song 'Just The Way You Are' included in the song playlist, I thought it was Billy Joel's song so when the band started playing, I was like "what the heck is that song?" Turned out his songs are wedding favorites, especially the one that goes, 'I think I wanna marry you...', go figure!;)
