Are all rappers geeks?

I don't listen to ALOT of Rap so I'm a bad judge, but I hear alot of comic book, cartoon and fantasy-culture references in the Rap I have heard. If I went around throwing these references I'd be called a geek, which I considered fair enough, but would rappers be happy with the "Geek" label? How many rappers have comic book / cartoon tattoos? How many have that diamond-studded Superman "S" around their necks? Is this a cultural epidemic? Am I too geeky for even suggesting this?
