Live Like You Were Dying

I'm currently reading a book entitled "Live Like You Were Dying" and it comes with a study guide which poses some questions that the reader is asked to answer. As I read, I found myself confronted with the thought, "What would I do if I find out I only have 30 days before I live?" My immediate answer to that is to prepare myself for the journey, to be mentally and emotionally ready to leave. I would probably try and enjoy the last 30 days, but how does one do that without really remembering from time to time that the end is near? Can anyone really be prepared to die? What do you think?

I believe that you can be prepared to die. I recently lost a good friend and she actually told me that she wasn't going to be here for mothers day. That made me a little upset but came to find out she was with us mothers day morning but past away later that day. She had prepared herself so I do believe that anybody can prepare themseleves for the journey.
