Anybody knows the site Shvoong?

Some years ago, when I was looking for some sites to earn some extra money, I found the web called Shvoong. I tried it and it was working well since then. But, one day, they cancelled my account without any advice. A month later, I created a new account, but since then, the interest for this site is not the same any more.
Anybody has got any experience with this site?

yes, I have worked with them, and never had any problems, so I think they are legit. That said, I didn't get a payment recently (because I kind of forgot about it) so maybe something has happened recently, not sure...

Writing enough summaries, can reach the payout monthly. When I was inscribed the first time, I had enough summaries and translation done so that I recieved payment already every month. So it was a good extra income. But, maybe happens the same as to so many other sites, they start well but, with the time, the service won't be so good any more as at the beginning.

Hi,
I am a Shvoonger as well since September 2006 and managed to earn over 700 dollars.. Only with about 190 reviews. Just check out my Most popular reviews (my Shvoong username is Osoul), theay have over 100,000 visitors.. I get know payouts every months and I am writing reviews only rarely..
Shvoong is a great site but you have to know how to write and what to write..:) great strategy is to concentrate on visitors from search engines (what is called 'organic traffic')

That's right, earning money with shvoong is really possible. To use well the search engine is a great idea.

I had joined this site "Shvoong" some time back, but have not been active with it recently. Thank you for bringing this up. I did enjoy working there, I remember, but have never received any payments there. I will get back to it again, and see how it is going. Thank you.

This site is really interesting for users who likes to read. I don't know it they still work as the same by now, but when I was activ, I got paid several times. It's hard at the beginning, when you still haven't got many summaries/translations written. But it's possible to earn with them. And you still carry on earning money by the published summaries, even if you are not activ during a certain time. Thanks for your post.
