It's my birthday!

Today (6/6/2011) is my birthday...yet, I'm away from my family and friends...I felt so lonely as I always wanted them to celebrate with me during this day. Does anyone felt the way I am before? What will you do when your beloved is not around for this special day?

I totally understand your feeling because in the past when I was studying in the UK, I also celebrated my birthday with no one. But then I chatted with my family on msn. It just like they were with me. Cherish your time "with" your family and your will be happy! CHEERSSSSS

Hey belated birthday wishes!!! n ya hi5 for ur condition !!! being a hostelite i sail in the same boat as you .. past three years i dnt get to celebrate my birthday with my family :( n also my beloved person:( so mostly i will on call for the entire day taking turns to speak with my parents , brothers n sisters n my beloved person or i would go out for the entire day with my whole lot of friends n have a blast jus to take my mind off all these lonely feeling n all ..!!!!! n btw hope ur birthday did go well:)

Although I'm away from my family, but now I feel no loneliness. myLot did got a lot of lovely person. =) Felt so happy when I see all those comments! Thanks lot!

I definitely know how do you feel. I spent my last four birthdays without my family or friends. But I know that even with the distance between us, they are thinking on me. I hope you have a great birthday. Try to enjoy it the most you can.

Happy Birthday. Yes, I have for the longest time. I usually call them and tell them what I'm up to and I'm still around.
I send postcards, saying thanks, and I love them. I will tell them what happened, well not the cheesy parts. They will probably want to hear from you.

hmm...I'll give them a call then. =) but somehow...it always felt uncompleted without a cake with candles on it. So I had buy a small cake with candles on it and you know...haha...well you doing the same as I did when nobody celebrate for you?

Happy birthday you! I had felt this way like two or three times when I used to live with my father. All my loved ones weren't there with me. All I wanted to do was cry and cry but that wouldn't solve the problem. I would just sigh and not think about it anymore.
