do you have any idea that William Alice is more than an onscreen warrior, he is a real historical person. sadly all the fight he did resulted to none cos Scotland is under England, Its now part of the UK. so yeah he existed in real life. He is the National hero of Scotland. Also another good trivia, Scotland actually have its own language.

The lead actor and director is Mel Gibson though, I just love Mel Gibsons directing skills- just like Passion of Christ.

I agree that the movie very good ist. I have watched it many times, but only on TV. The movie has a good picture where you appreciate beautiful scenery and the actors do a fine job. The set design and dressing is fantastic.

A great movie! Speaking about the beautiful scenery, I have to mention that the hd bluray release is also a must. Highlands look stunning in hd resolutions!
