Same as you I thought I could be rich or I could have enough money at an early age. Now I've realized that it is hard to earn much in a short period of time. I love travelling and just has been in some countries in Asia since it is near my country. I can't still afford to go in Europe which is my dream.

I have had the good opportunity to travel to a number of countries in different parts of the world on my business trips. I very much enjoyed working with people of different countries. It is always so interesting and enjoyable to learn about the different traditions and cultures. Very educational !

I was working for a ship brokers as a container marketing controller for two years from age 18 to 20 years old. At 19 years old I bought a cottage. I was ever so sad to be made redundant. I tried to get another job but in the recession it proved way too challenging. I decided to let out my cottage, get a working holiday visa and buy an airline ticket around the world. I went to California, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia on my fantastic trip. I stayed away for just over one year and had an exciting time. I worked as a children's nanny, a factory packer and a charity collector.
Years later I worked as a primary school teacher from May to October covering a maternity contract in a village school. I went off to New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands when I was 29 years old. I spent a few months away and it was lovely to have Christmas and New Year in New Zealand. I came back home and was poor after spending so much money on that lovely trip. Now I am 38 years old and go on trips of 2 to 3 weeks because I have two dogs. I travel with my 4 year old disabled son and my 23 month old daughter. None of us know how healthy we will be at 60 years old.
Good luck with your trip around the world.

I would love to retire before 60 to travel round the world, but I do go travel every now then so I do not just work and have no fun. Cheers.
