I just started playing, about two days ago, and I'm not going to lie, I haven't earned anything yet. I'm finding it really tough to get started - my local currency goes up, very very slowly, but to earn money you need to convert that into gold, and then the gold into euro. It seems like it could be quite good once you get going - it'll obviously never make you rich, but getting paid anything to play games can only be good! I just haven't figured out how to earn enough to really get going with it yet - you can load your account with money, but honestly, I don't really want to do that, even if it will mean I can start earning from it faster. The other thing is, they give you a bonus for filling out your profile, which is awesome BUT it has to include 10 photos, showing your face, and I'm not sure I want photos of me on the internet.

It's a very nice game, at the beggining its a little hard, but with the time it become lot easier, and you start making money. They pay in euro, but first you need to convert your local country curency into gold, and the gold into euro. (7.5 payout) It imitate real life very much, as you can buy food, clothes, weapons, open a bank account, employ to a company or make your own company, become a politician, be a president .. you can fight too for your country in wars and lot more. Also you can buy slaves, or attack other people to make them your slaves. From your slaves you get about 10-20% (it variates) from their income. Also, you can invite peoples to Anno, which will became your permanent slaves. The bad part of Anno is that when registering, you need to pay 0.10E from your cellphone. But, the good part is that you get that 0.10 in your game account. :)
