Free web domain names for non-profit organizations

Hi, Im about to design a website for a non-profit organization at my school. Do you guys know any free sites that offers free domain names? preferably with .org extension. Thanks!

It is very difficult to get an .org domain for free. In fact most registrars charge MORE for these extensions. Not very charitable is it? I think it is better to find a sponsor yourself who can donate a sufficient amount to register the domain for ten years. It is a visible thing and people will not doubt your intentions if you ask corporations to sponsor this cause.

wow! that's a nice suggestion. I never thought of looking for a sponsor. Well that would be nice, the only problem is what would the sponsor get in return for sponsoring us. Its kinda hard. haha

Many corporations donate to good causes without expecting any return. A simple mention of their name at the bottom of the page would be nice. Sponsored by .....
