I crave hot cocoa, brownies, and spaghetti when it rains. I don't know why though. These three and a good book or DVD marathon is my idea of heaven, haha. How about you?

Mine is crab and corn soup with egg. I love soups specially during cold season. I'm also a fan of oat meals, whether it oat cereal drink or oat meal cookies.

Wow, health buff! Me too, I like oat meals. I like banana, apple, chocolate, and strawberry oat meals. Have you tasted one of those? :)

It' so nice to eat tsamporado (cocoa porridge) and lilot balatong (mongo porridge) during rainy days. I remember my father used to cook them for us whenever it rains when we were young. After playing in the rain, we would all gather up on the table and feast on the porridge. It is one of my favorite memories with my father.

I would make a pizza bread and some spicy dry noodles to brighten up my rainy days. For drinks, I would prefer a glass of hot Milo drink or just plain water. Oh I love eating spaghetti but I don't sometimes have the mood to eat it on rainy season.

I don't understand why people dislike rain so much. I don't see any need for any comforting during rainy days and it hadn't occurred to me that people did eat comfort food when it rains. It makes sense that you would crave hot cocoa since rain is often cold. Maybe the same goes for the other things you crave, since they are also warm.

Rain, oh, I love rain! I like to eat tuyo (dried fish), sinangag (garlic rice) and pritong itlog (fried egg) when it rains, and just like you, have a DVD marathon. And yes, the sound of raindrops and the cool wind are so relaxing that I just like to stay in bed! :)

I would have to say chinese, homemade chicken and dumplings, and bagels with cream cheese. Since these are my favorite foods i am glad I don't have to wait for it to rain. Florida does not see much rain. Yep if its raining a good cup of hot tea and cross stitching and watching a good movie I agree! Add that to my 3 favorite foods LOL

For rainy days, I would definitely have a bowl of soup, coffee and a chocolate. I sometimes want to 'hibernate' when it's a rainy day and these three can make me feel awake, working and running. I keep in stock my two ultimate comfort foods - microwave popcorn and mint chocolate for movies, TV, book or my 'blues' sessions. It's a good thing that I haven't a UTI yet but I do take precautions on that one.

Its cold during rainy days, so i prefer something hot! Chicken soup thickened with coconut milk, spiced up with ginger, pepper, and a leaves from horse radish is the best, hmmmm yumm. Oh makes me hungry.

I have to say that my friend comfort food is chocolate and drinking coffee during the rainy days. Actually, anything I eat tastes better when it's raining. Haha I don't know I just love it when I'm all cooped up in the house and its raining outside. There is something very peaceful about it. Also, a good book and a dvd marathon as an idea of heaven? I totally back you up on that ;)
