I'm so curious about this both two gadget technology. When I go the to Mall I always see the latest iPhone but when I see the Brand this is iPod or iPod touch. I confused because it has the same features, application, and i don't know if the games is also the same. Please help me about the difference between iPhone and iPod. Thank You in advance

That's pretty much it. And another way to see it is that iPhone has an iPod Touch embbed in itself.

The iPhone plays games a little better then the touch (faster).

isn't the difference between the two devices lie on their main functions? in my opinion, iPhone functions as a communication device, with add-ons such as the wide array of applications to install and use. Music player also included. On the other hand, the iPod touch only functions as an entertainment device, equipped with applications, games, and music, but not entirely as a communication device.

I think you're right because like what he/she of Bazerk it has 3G so that you can communicate to others. Thank you also Happy Mylotting and god bless.

Iphone you can call people and its part of a contract with a cell phone company. Whereas the ipod touch there are some applications where you can text and stuff but not very much calling. There is no contract with the ipod touch and you need wifi to use it at all times if the games and applications require the use of internet. Where as the iphone has the internet if you get the package from the cell phone company.

The thing is, the iPhone is actually a mobile phone as well as all those iPod Touch features. Meaning you can call/SMS on it, etc. 3G internet connection. iPod touch doesn't have those capabilities.
